Smoking out of a Hookah...

Im looking to invest in a good quality hookah, and was looking to see peoples feedback of how good smoking bud through a hookah is.

I wouldnt smoke just weed, probably a little bit of tobacco too, but more specifically wondering if you use charcol smoking bud as you would with tobacco.

If you have any reconmendations or experiences please share :smokin:

i just got a hookah the other day. ive only smoked one bowl out of it so far, but damn was it good. Got me pretty high for just one bowl, and it was the size of a bowl for a pipe, not the size of the bowl for the hookah. I had the charcoal on it and didnt have a problem, couldnt even taste it.

It wastes weed easily and it's only good if you have people over. It's hard to smoke alone unless it's a single hose.

If you have more than one hose and your by yourself, just put plugs in the other ones.

A hookah is great for smoking with other people. You can sit around and just pass the hose. You get fuckin ripped, but you usually can't use a hookah unless you're gonna smoke a lot of weed since the bowl is so big.

u guys what we do is put down a layer of hooka tobacco, take like 2 bowls worth of weed, grind it up really well, then mix it up realy good with the hooka tobacco and smoke it regularly.

You can actually replace the bowl with a regular bowl from your average bong.

I got a 4 hose and I just plug the un-needed ones with aluminum foil.
Duct tape works too. Kinda bitchy to do though, just have friends over.
Don't use a hookah if you're alone..

Yea I have one... usually take it with me if its a group session its really smooth, usually mix in tobacco with it too but that takes out the weed tast and smell and I don't like it with tobacco in it...
Need alot more weed than usuall but gets you pretty ripped so I guess its worth it...
Also they have really cheap wooden ones... stay away from those very hard to clean.... spend a bit more money and go for a nice metal with a glass base, will last alot longer and its well worth it....

hookas are more for a community session. Theres also a certain way to smoke a hooka. Kinda a pain in the ass if you ask me, But thats just my opinion.

I had one with four tubes and I just tied them in a knot. No smoke came out, especially with me pulling through the one.

Well, if you pack, only, enough for one hit. Then what would you waste, if you get a full hit?

It has to do with the airflow and the fact that the bowl stays lit after you're done smoking it, the same with bongs, or joints. You lose slipstream smoke.

I don't mind them. My buddy had one and the hose was clogged so we didn't bother using it and it still worked quite well. I found it was a bit harder on the throat than most bongs I've tried but it did the trick.

it gets tiresome to pack hit after hit for something so extravagant as a hookah, which is why i stick with sheesha if im smoking out of one. pots too expensive to let burn away between hits in my opinion.
