Okay I'll get down to the point. I'm new at this and I'm not really sure. I have a area where I planted like 8 or so. I left them in a bag with moist paper towels for like 3 days in a really dark area before I planted them. But the thing is I've ben trying to cutt this tree down so it gets more light. Because the plants only get light for like 4 hours in the morning when the sun is coming up. In the after noon when the sun is in the middle of the sky and starting to set there is no light to my plants. Im useing miracle grow potting soil. When I first planted them i put about 2 inches of potting soil down in a big area and then dugg about inch down and put a seed in and coverd it with a little bit of soil. Same thing for the rest of the seeds. It has ben Three days and nothing has sprouted I've waterd them Once.
Is this normal?
Any help?
Thanks, Josh

What do you meen it will get me busted from the air. I only chopped a few down for more light. There no plants even grown up out the ground yet. So if its in the shade will they still grow. Cause It gets like 80 degreese out during the day

It's the cutting of the trees that's gonna get the air cops attention! They look for stuff like that.Even if the plants are well hidden or whatever!the stump you left shines like a peice of glass from the air.Tell, tell sign of an outdoor grow!Clearing in the middle of the woods! Worst thing is there are no beavers in the area to make them decide,hey....It's a beaver cutting the trees to build a dam.I hope the trees you cut are small.Cause when a tree falls it falls on all vegitation that could have later in the grow hidden your plants from passers by!DON"T CUT THE TREES! Ya gotta love nature! They will grow in the shade, but they gotta have light from direct sun too.At least 5 hours a day.

Best bet in my opinion if you wanted to continue your grow there would be to get some black spray paint and paint the tops of the stumps you cut at least that way if the cops should fly over nothing will stand out to them. Good luck on your grow!
they don't need full sun all day. cutting down trees that grow for decades and more to plant a weed that'll grow for only a few months is not a wise thing to do. they'll be fine where they are. direct morning sun and ambient light the rest of the day is not a prob...water is the main thing they need, during the hot months especially.

Well It isn't like im cutting the whole tree down. The tree hangs over my yard and So I just standed on the fence and cutt a couple . No one saw me cutt them. And of the 6 years Iv'e lived here I have yet to see a helicopter Police officer. My area Aint bad for drugs theres all old people. So inless they have a satelite from space takeing pictures Cause a helicopter has never flew past here.
it doesn't matter who saw you...fact is ya cut a tree that wasn't necessary and all we're saying is that it's not a wise thing to do...and if the sky leo's have you so concerned the last thing to do is take down your canopy!

Yea I see what you meen.
Day 4 Nothing has sprouted
And I'm not looking for huge buds for my first grow. If I get a quarter of a once even I'll be happy then I'll know where to grow next time and the "correct" steps
