Transplanting..

Hey Guys. Got some news.. I was trying to transplant one of my two plants. When I took it out, I think some of the root like ripped off, does that mean the plant is dead, or will the root just re grow. Leaves and everyhting are still green, is there a way I can tell if its dead? Thanks.. Let me know.

Just give it something to promote root growth and wait and see what happens.

Shouldn't be a problem, you want to kind of gently rip up the roots a little when transplanting anyway.

I recently put two big plants into 1 smaller planter. I hacked them up good, stems and roots. I cut at least half the roots off. I bent and tied them down like crazy. I should have done this in steps, letting them recover each time. 1 died, 1 did fine.

Also if you'ld like, you could tape back together individual roots and the will heal, believe it or not. this must be done right away though.
