Which Type Of Bong?

I was wondering which type of bong to get as i am new to it?

dont get metal dude glass is sooo much better, and i would have to say that ive never seen a metal bong (other then home mades)

Never seen a metal bong (unless you mean a can)... but anyway thats definately a real general question, i mean buying a bong is kind of a personal preference for aesthetics and just how you like to smoke. If it's your first one i would suggest getting an inexpensive one, because you might break your first one three days after you get it (personal experience). Or go with a pyrex one, which is basically plastic. I would say just get a small water bong at the local smoke shop, maybe with an ice twist for a cool smoke. And if you dont have one already, buy a pipe first.

I say get a acrylic bong, because they aren't so damn fragile.


see if you can get it with a glass bowl though....and possibly with a diffuser stem

Well if you have some money I would suggest you get a custom RooR; you can order one frome their site.

Also, try and get a diffuser, which is a small circular plate with multiple holes in it that creates a greater abundance of smoke bubbles. This means that there is more surface area of smoke for the icy water (oh yeah, get a custom ice catcher too) to cool. The smoke inside the bubble doesn't actually get cooled, so smaller bubbles are necessary to optimize cooling, which is exactly what a diffuser does. rant.....:smokin:

I would also suggest an ashcatcher which will maintain the cleanliness of the chamber of the bong, and subsequently the cleanliness of the smoke.

Oh yea, and it's all glass of course. I've never heard of a metal bong. The only ones I've seen are plastic/acrylic but I would never get that. Go for the glass. :thumbsup:

The taste is ridiculously better. It's also a much cleaner way to smoke.

If you're low on money then maybe you should go with the acrylic after all. They are quite a bit cheaper. And yeah, if you're trying to get something stealth I would suggest a glass pipe. But if you're steadfast on a bong and want it to be cheap then don't get glass, because it's expensive. And I hate getting pieces/bongs that aren't clear becase then you can't... MILK THAT SHIAAAT.
