this is my 1st time and most of my plants r around 1' and others only about 6"-7" and i read somewhere about "SOG" and it said desired height is around 6"-8" then cut back lights. Is this rite? Should i wait a lil while longer? I know i will get a much bigger yield if i wait, but i'm tryn to get the most out of it in a shorter time. And what is the overall best and quickest light/dark regimen for the flowering stage? Ive read 13/11, 12/12, 10/14 and even 8/16. Can some one shed a lil bit of light(no pun intended lol) on this matter for me. O and about nutrients...ive noticed some browning/yellowing of the tips of the leaves, necrotic spots on leaves, some twisted growth of the leaves, and a couple deformed leaves. I have used any yet(been about 6 wks). The soil i used was miracle grow potting soil with water control(feeds up to 3 months), but i jus recently noticed the N-P-K on the back of the bag and it wasnt even 1% for any of them. I know that i need some fert but like what kind does ne 1 recommend that i could buy at like wal-mart or lowes or something? Thanx for the advice in advance

The reason I ask is that you don't know if they are fem or not, true? SOG Is a perpetual crop. You harvest every 3 months. With seedling and not knowing the sex? You would be better off growing to about a height 12 or better inches, force flower and sex them.Take cutting from female and go from there.Sea of Green. That is a seedless procedure.Sinseimillia.Lady phermones all over! Smell that?MMMMMMMM!

you've been growing them for 6 weeks and you only have 7 inch plants?

That's not normal at all. What lights are you using?

the plants that r 6-7in have only been growing for 4 wks, the rest 6 wks(10-12 in). im only using 2 40w flour(didnt have enough for MH or HPS). have alum. foil surrounding plants. so i should wait until the rest reach about a ft? im jus a lil impatient ;) i know the longer u wait the better, but im not lookin for huge monsters, jus a few decent size plants for personal use. i am growing Northern Lights #5 and True NL X 100% BB.....all advice is deeply appreciated.....
