You were so close to being right.
What about South Park?
And the wheather is somewhat enjoyable down south sometimes...
Plus Forrest Gump was from Alabama, and I do love me that Forrest.

HEY! I'm a Southerner and I live in the South!
Ae...
06-13-2006, 04:35 AM
Yeah I'm kind of ready to get outta here too...
It's not just Georgia rather than the South as a whole I guess.
I like Georgia but I need a break from it. Heh.

Never have loved GA. North GA is pretty, south of ATL though and I don't much care for it. But then again, I'm like that anywhere it's flat and there's not a beach for miles.

I live just near you and I love it here, I've lived in North GA my whole life, with the exception of living one year in Las Vegas, I come across pretty dank bud pretty often, the only downside is how expensive it is around here, but I've had no run-ins with the law and my friends are great, sorry to hear about your troubles, I'll burn one for ya!

O whateverâ?¦
The south rocks. HELLO sweet tea, southern hospitality, we have lots of guns, biscuits and gravy, all the charming sayings we have. A southerner can call your mama a bitch in a way that would make a Yankee say thank you. Were patriots damit!
Besides you guys call pop soda â?¦.thatâ??s just unnatural.

There are some good things about the south. The food here is alot better. IE: Waffle House (good, cheap food 24 hours a day. a stoners paradise). and then things like fried chicken and squirrel (just kidding). the south isn't nearly what you'd expect watching shows like family guy that mock it. hell, there are more rednecks in upstate new york than in georgia.

I almost got arrested in Atlanta when I was 19 for shoplifting, but I was innocent I tell ya!
Oh, the georgian hills are a great place to drop a few seeds; it's a beautiful state, too. There's also a lot of 'good people' down there.
I like Georgia, and it's only a couple states away from my home...I think I'll go through on my next road trip. I'll start a little north of Georgia with a couple oz's, a little 'cough cough' powder, czech out some of the southern states, and end up down by the Outer banks where I have some family....
Good times!

I've been to nearly every region in the US, all have good and bad points, but I have noticed the Atlanta area is very clean, friendly, has an excellent climate, and the northside is pretty upscale, but without being expensive to live in. All in all, if I could live anywhere in the US, it would be Atlanta or Northern CA.

Did anyone else remember that Ray Charles was from Georgia, and we all know he professed his love for his home state.
I like how laid back everything is. If I were to move down south, that would be the main reason. Shoooot, I might be a country boy at heart...

Georgia, Georgia, the whole day through
Just an old sweet song
Keeps Georgia on my mind
Talkin' 'bout Georgia
I'm in Georgia
A song of you
Comes as sweet and clear as moonlight through the pines
Other arms reach out to me
Other eyes smile tenderly
Still in peaceful dreams I see
The road leads back to you
Georgia, sweet Georgia, no peace I find
Just an old sweet song

The South is backwards on some things but not all of it sucks as you believe..at least we got rid of the KKK here in Alabama..I read a couple of days ago where Ohio had a KKK gathering there..thought they were all gone..but Ohio:confused:

I got to hang out with some artists in an old industrial warehouse/loft. I drove through in a day stopped in Atlanta and was out of the state before the sunset. There was a storm coming in at sunset and the skies were beautiful. Lots of interesting foliage along the interstate. Maybe magnolias. I can't remember.
