how about forum for cost of weed in your area. Nobody is gonna post that stuf in the local forums, and so many people ask about it in the general.
you should have something like webhigh has, where the forum (meant just for cost) breaks down by state (made as stickies). and dont allow any new topics, just responces.

just an idea.

Hey dude, GREAT idea!!! It would be nice to have that kind of list...state to state, country to country. Hell, imagine walkin' into dealer mans house and asking if the bag comes with a complimentary tube of K.Y. since he's $50 over everyone else in the area for the same strain.

You know whats comin' though....BUT.....ya there's always problems. Unfortunately there is an element that couldn't keep it real for the rest of us. As you know, NO TALK OF MOM/SALES/HOOK-UPS allowed on the board. This would have the potenial to be just another moderation nightmare.

Another but.........never say never! I think it would be EXTREMELY interesting myself. Let's see what kind of response comes down.

I think it's a good idea! Someone would have to mod and make sure to keep the prices updated, but in general the forum would be set so only mods could post in it! Members could PM the mod (if that system's working?) and then update the seperate parts! :D

Sounds like a great idea for me, it's kind of tiring hearing so many guys asking how much this or that strain should cost :D

Somebody say's they got some X-strain for 300.00 an oz and the next thing you know someone else is saying I can sell you the same stuff for only Y dollars. Then we have MOM all over again.

We don't make the rules around here the owner does. We all serve at the pleasure of the owners of the site. It's their place we just hang out here and watch the place for them. We can't be everywhere and read every post. Hell even the grow section has grown (pun intended) to the point even I can't keep up. Now where is the time to surf the other sections where MOM posts are made? We don't get paid to be here, we get nothing but a hard time and grief from many members. Either we moderate too much or not enough so there is no pleasing everyone.

We just do our best and that is all anyone can ask of any mod.

MOM is not allowed period. As we find those posts we remove them and if the poster only has a few posts I ban them to. It's my feeling they only joined to post MOM threads and they should not be here anyway. The problem is they have 20 other accounts we don't know about and they just move to the next one.

it's already been tried and what ended it is exactly what has been said here. Pot Price at marihemp was on for a few years and it was a constant source for scammers to find their targets. it was full of useless and flawed info, many downright lies and offered nothing positive for the people. bring this up at marihemp for more insight into this pot price sham started by high times more than a decade ago and ron attempted a come-back of it at mh.

I just agree with strangle. You have like, (infinity) threads " I payed 70 for an eighth, is that good"? Said thread starter could just go to said STICKY thread and look that here in colorado an eighth would be 50.

You could even have the Kids try to convert ounces to grams and back again.... now that would be funny.......lol < i am in a good mood and baked
