NO :P

Honestly they just dont want you going to work stoned. And dont want to be liable for any actions because of it.

If Drugs became legal than definitely yes but until then no.

I totaly agree that it's a violation of privacy.

As to the concern that employers are concerned that people would come to work stoned ..... a positive test does NOT imply that a person ever would come to work stoned. Most people who smoke and have jobs, smoke at home on their own time.

is Drug Proghebition a breach of human right?

Definitions of human rights on the Web:

From the Humane Rights Resource Center: Human rights are those basic standards without which people cannot live in dignity. To violate someoneā??s human rights is to treat that person as though she or he were not a human being. To advocate human rights is to demand that the human dignity of all people be respected. ...

Many people living in western democracies accuse their governments of human rights violations and being forced to live under 'fascist' or 'communist' dictatorships. Whether that is true or not doesn't discount that even a cursory glance at what others suffer shows that a large proportion of the world live in countries which are virtual prison camps.

a right or rights (for instance to freedom of speech, freedom of movement, certain standards of life or treatment) which are believed to belong to every person and individual.

Certain universal rights many argue should be enjoyed by all people because they are justified by a moral standard that stands above the laws of any individual nation. (p. 953)

Humans have been smoking weed for at least 25,000 years. Animals like jaguars and bees get high. It is our right to get high.
Prohibition is based on corruption, ignorance and fear. The same with drug tests.

id have to say i go to work stoned quite a bit, but its not like my work suffers, my faviorite manager even told me i get my work done tons better when im stoned and hell tell me incase the owner ever wants to test, im honest with him but the other managers dont really know, but they suspect, but as far as it being an invasion of privacy.... noones really given a fuck all through the history of our country really, logic flows through our system almost as consistently as camels through the eyes of needles

The school I'm going to this year is allowed to drug test any student whenever they believe that the student has taken any recreational drug, and then they report it to the police if the test comes up positive. Ridiculous!

Well....If your a driver for a company...If i was the owner...I would drug test you ..because If i didnt...and you would wreck...killsomeone...because you were too high...I would be held liable...because the person you killed....was denied the right to live...which is a human right...

Of course it's a breach of our rights! The establisment is taking advantage of the technology and the fact that most people are so afraid of losing their jobs that they willing roll over. They can't come into your house and look for drugs can they? Then why should they be able to enter your body to do the same thing, just because the technology exists to do so?

Of course it is a violation of your rights! Do you like pissing into a cup like some kind of caged monkey!?

Listen. You own your own body. What you do to your body is up to you. Yes drugs may be abusive to your health. People abuse their own bodies all sorts of ways whether they eat too much cholesterol have high blood sugar peirce their skin or get tattoos. Let a person swallow breathe inject chew eat whatever they want to. Basically you are letting the government tell you what you can and cannot put into your body.

Stop giving up your freedom. Benjamin Franklin said that a person willing to give up freedoms to feel safer doesn't deserve any freedom at all.
