Topping Sativa strains?

Well, I have never really considered topping, not until I just realized how cool my plant would look with more than one cola :D. Lol but also I heard that it keeps the plant shorter or w/e..Well I was wondering, if I topped a Sativa plant would grow up to 10 ft unpruned would it affect it's height greatly or not much?

It wil still get huge outside.
And big indoors too.
But it will also be wider.
I found scroging or a little Low stress training is way better then topping.

Yeah!jdog,
There are alot more bud sites getting light.I wish I had done a scrogg on this Jack! I'll save 1 this summer before flower and do 1, (a scrogg). I got 70 outdoors.
