.....bubbles (cooler and more filtered smoke)?
It seems like a cheap wat to save over those bongs that claim to make millions of bubbles

Never tried it, but it sounds like a good idea if you don't mind cleaning it after every bowl.

the idea was to jam anythingat the bottom of the stem where that is normally submerged in water..... I think a metal wire scrub brush or anything that would force the air bubble to break into several bubbles would be a overall cooler inhale do to the fact that more smoke surface area is in direct contact with the icy water

someone from another pot forum gave me the idea that they sell diffuser stems.......I'd buy the stem and make a new home made bong everytime I wanted to go in orbit.....
Bongs stink so I'd just keep the stem and put it in a few zip lock bags to nearly keep odor free. then stash it somewhere off my property
cops always wanna search my car....I never keep a pipe around.....I use it then hide or ditch it....I'd be in jail right now if I didn't do this

Hmm...I think it'd be best to fit a plastic cylinder at the end of a stem and drill holes in it that are tiny and evenly spaced.

im thinking a single bowl that branched into three or more diffusers would be best or one huge diffusser

i think about rolling it in 2 papers, or a blunt, and then throwing away the excess paper with the spliff at the end. No evidence. simple. easy.
Blunt.
im rollin balls..

I also believe in that method......often though I score so little weed that I wouldn't dream of wasting with a lit paper ect.
I get a $5 pipe and just throw it away after I've dusted my sack.

I actually own a portable bong... basically exactly as penguin describes it. It's works pretty good, got it off Grasscity.com. It's small, fits in a pocket. Three metal tubes, all fit in sucession of each other when you carry around.
One for cleaning... THe other two stick into a spherical bowl, one for the stem, the other for the mouth peice. Takes 2 seconds to assemble or dissemble, and all you need is a normal sized water bottle, or anything with an average sized lid.
But I don't use it anymore... Unless I have a lot of buddies together and we need another peice... I now have a nice glass bong with an icetwist
But god I wished I had some ganja right now....
