I am planning on using my steamer to steam a cup of rice (takes 50 minutes) with about 2 tablespoons of butter and during the last 15 minutes throwing in some grass. It should work right? No direct flame or anything...but I do wonder if the temperature is high enough to vaporize it, but i dunno...Has anyone tried this method before?

go to the green dragon thread and look at what temp you cook it at.

I thought it was 250

water boils at 212 there is a latent energy change, from liquid to steam, but i think you need more heat????

hmm, I believe the water in the steam cooker is 212... vaporizers typically go from 250-400 degrees F i believe.\

so...It all seems right! Its such an easy way to injest the cannabis i dunno why no one else ever wrote about using this method. Thats why I am worrysom if this will work or not.

You are good in math and science, Bong! (Hello, by the way. Got your other post. Thx. And peace.)

I thought the cannabis somehow had to be oil-prepped to release something important. I know I've read that here lots of times before. Maybe you're planning to put it in the butter?

Yes there is butter cooked into the rice, 2 tablespoons..

I forgot, the temperature may need to be higher to release a good amount of THC but I guess I'll have to go with the classic trial and error method.

I'm just wondering if there will be enough butter, depending on how much buddha you're putting in. You're steaming...how much water? You'll obviously want to make sure the butter doesn't get too completely dissolved because if it does then it won't have anything to absorb in.

I don't know, man. Personally, I wouldn't try it just in case. I'd much rather just bong it or bowl it.

let's see, rice will absorb the butter, but will the butter impregnated rice absorb the THC??? I would tend to agree that more butter would not hurt...

please keep us posted,I want to know how this works out...
