you should get high. As long as you inhale (push the smoke deep into your lungs) and hold it there for at least 8 seconds (any longer is just overkill)

Has the friend your smoking with smoked before? If so, he should be able to help you out so that youcan do it right. Dont worry about it though, not everybody gets high their first time. But do it right, and youll be pleased.

your never gonna guess my bad luck. i actually got a gram of this guy and i was happy with it. So middle of the day i showed my friend and i check a while later to see if it was still in my bag (it was) , which i carry with me all the time. And by the time i got home it was gone. So a while later the guy i got it off said to me if i still had it cus one of his mates saw the weed in the same place i was showing to my friend earlier. And now the guy that found it has givin it to one of his mates and i dnt know where it is now. So ive lost a £10 / $20 and im pretty pissed. Especially for 1st time. All i can say is it must of fell out my bag when i showed my friend.

I was getting my friend's little brother high for his 1st time. So we decided to go out into a cornfield to get the job done... anyways it's about 10 or 11 and dark as shit.

I realize that I forgot my lighter in my car so I give the bud to this kid and run to get it.

I come back, only to see this kid on his hands and knees searching for something. I knew what he was lookin for right away. He looks up at me and says "I really fucked it up man"

All I can say is that shit happens, so don't dwell on it...

the first time i smoked it was hydro and i smoked 3 or 4 bowls with my friend and i was only sort of dazed like out of it, not really high, like on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the best) i was probably a 2. had to smoke 2 more times before I got truelly baked (had some kb my first time getting high and it was amazing) i smoked some ok shit twice before that. the first time i smoked i geuss i thought i was high but like compared to a real high i was sort of buzzed. a gram of real good shit might do 2 newbies a little if thats all, could probably get you off twice. the next time you guys do it, it'll be like 4 times as good

I think a gram should get you guys going. Don't give up on it, just because you lost a little of your bud. Get some more, smoke it. The first time I tried it, I didn't really get high. The second time I tried it, I didn't really get high. But the third time I tried it, I knew it was worth it.

This past weekend, me and my roomate got a friend high for his first time. I didn't think that he was going to actually get high, but the way he described his experience, I knew it happened. We were listening to Miles Davis' "On The Corner" and he said it was the best thing he ever heard in his life. Yeah dude, don't give up just because you never got to smoke that first sack. When I first found out how great weed was , I immediately thought "Where has this been all my life?" If you pass this opportunity up, trust me you'll be missing out on a lot. If you don't feel anything on your first try, still don't give up. I didn't get high my first time (just coughed a lot), but I must have the second or third time or I wouldn't have continued (I don't remember my first high, which I take as a sign that it was good). Also, the potency of the weed has a big effect on what you feel. If it just looks like a bunch of chopped up leaves, it's shwag and you probably won't get very high off a gram, but if it comes in a few buds you should get high. Look for the tiny white crystals on the buds -- if you see a lot of them, that's a good sign that the weed is potent.

Don't fret. We all had to learn sometime. You'll need a soda bottle, a tack, a pair of scissors, a pen tube, some chewing gum, a screen from any standard faucet, and something to use for the bowl (I've heard wrench sockets work great, but I just use the bowl part of a cheap metal pipe).

First, tear off the label on the soda bottle. Then poke a hole with the tack into the side of the bottle a couple inches from the bottom. Then open the scissors and put the end of one blade on the tack hole and spin it. Keep doing this, making a circular hole, until it is just barely big enough for the pen tube to fit through. Then shove it in at an angle so it almost touches the bottom of the inside of the bottle. Now you want to make sure that the bong is airtight, so chew some of the gum and use it to seal off any leaks around the hole you just made. If you're having trouble keeping the pen tube at an angle, use a piece of Scotch tape to hold the pen tube in place. Now attach your bowl to the pen tube (you can do this before you put the pen tube in if that's easier), again using the gum. Don't forget to put the screen in the bowl so your weed doesn't fall through. Next, you need to make one last hole, on the opposite side of the bottle from the first hole and about midway up the bottle. This one doesn't have to be perfectly circular; it is just your carb hole (cover it up with a finger when toking and release to inhale the whole chamber). Now put a little water in it, pack your bowl and enjoy!

I felt it the first time I smoked. As time wore on, I became more and more lightweight. It's gotten to the point where I can get high off a bowl of anything, including leaves (ugh, -shrug-. I used to get handfuls of leaves for free). Jus' remember to *inhale*. It sounds stupid, but.. I'm sure many people don't know they're supposed to. For my first handful of cigs, I didn't. i find this way works well...

burn, drill or just tear a new hole in the cap. screw your bowl in. make another hole in the top of the bottle (look at pic, i dont wanna explain it any better than i am) put a tube or w.e u use into it and seal it with w.e. put a tube comming outta the bowl under the cap. put enough water in the bottle so the tube, with the bowl and the cap, is in the water. screw the cap on, put some weed in...and blaze away!
