Bubbler Question.

I've been smoking for about a total of six months now, but never in my life have I ever seen a bubbler! I heard it's a mix between a bong and a pipe, and that they are the SHIT! How much do they cost? How do they work? What do they look like? Is it better/worse than a bong/pipe? I don't currently own a peice of my own, and I would like to get something small, like a small pipe, but I hear bubblers can also be pretty small too (fits in your hand and pocket is the kinda thing im look for). Any input guys?:rasta:

basically a pipe with water. would be like ur regular pipe except under the bowl there would be alot more space for water to be put in.

they work pretty well, and you can put different liquids in them, one time a friend of mine put beer in his, and we got beer flavored hits, it was pretty weird

Here's a bubbler that I found on glasspipes.org.. it's pretty much sick. Bubblers usually range anywhere from $30-300 depending on the quality, materials used, intricacy, and artistry. As far as the size that you're looking for, I don't really know. You'd just have to look around, or you could make your own out of common household materials. You can search around on this site for some information on how to make your own pieces.

i bought this bubbler a couple of weeks ago and i can tell u that its pretty fucking amazing!!
when u toke of it it goes so smoothly that u can take a whole huge breath of smoke without actually choking...

this pic is of a side car bubbler, as you can see theres a large chamber and a skinny tube coming down from the bowl

the weed gets burned in the bowl, travels down the skinny tube, bubbles up through the water and goes down the stem into your lungs, take your thumb off the little hole on the side and your good to go.

Im gonna get one today, but I believe you poor it thru the bowl where you smoke herb, then just blow on it to dry it out..common sense yo :thumbsup:

yeah I guess that makes more sense...how far do you fill it up

I fill it up enough where it's about a inch above the bottom of the stem(stem is the tube coming down from the bowl to the water). If you do it wrong you'll know because it doesn't make the awesome bubble sound. If you put too much you'll suck the water through.

p.s. sometimes it gets fustrating to get the water through the carb, so i just use the bowl and torch it afterwards.... I love torch lighters:dance: .

Always make sure the end of the bowl tube is under the water, if it isnt you wont hear a bubble and your hits wont be filtered.

theres a couple ways to put water in it, you can pour it in the bowl, or you can put a water bottle to the carb and pour water in that way, always dump the water out the carb, keeps the rest of the bubbler cleaner.

my bubbler is about 6 inches long, its pretty thick glass and cost me 60 bucks, ist a smaller sized bowl, but its an awesome peice and i love smokin out of it

Hey, i'm looking into buying a bubbler, if you have seen my other post about these. Now, how much are the two chambered bubblers? I'm interested in one of those. If they are too expensive then i am looking into buying just a single chambered bubbler. How good of a bubbler could i get for $50-$60 price range? Thanks if any one helps me! :thumbsup:
