I am done with this website. I do not know why I was banned. Was it for calling someone a dumbass? Than why wasn't everyone else in the thread banned that called him a dumbass?
I think this website is over run by children who should be doing something else. How old are the mods? Are they kids, too?
Anyways, it was nice meeting some of you, but I'm tired of the games played by the administration here.
Good bye.

Well, where to start? Maybe it's because of the flaming? I personally didn't ban you in the first place but I recall your other name doing the same....and the other also. You can join your other user names.

By the way....I'm 44.

Have a good one!

Talking about user names, I screwed up my orig. user name earlier part of this week. I tried to update my user pswrd - email profile with a new email add. I do not know why I put www. infront of my email add. but it has me shut out. It says - my email is not recognized and braddog100 is a taken user name. I would very much like my orig back. Much thanks If you would do this for me. I have developed friends... well, I'm sure you understand.

User name: braddog100
email: [email protected]

Thank you again

Yea, I know. But me disconnects me ... well It's cool. Hey I just clicked on your link for The Tubes. "Whie punks on Dope" I had laugh. I got turned onto The Tubes back in "79" by Cheri Caspari (dated Lyndey Buckingham, for 6 yrs. on and off) she's mentioned on their website under lindseys' profile.... well, I later saw them back in "80". A friend of mine and I were toward the front shouting to Fee Waybill (spl) "Your No Fun!!". It was a riot. People thought we were nuts. Of coarse we were refering to their song "Your No Fun".
I talked to him in the back after the show.

Definitely, very cool!

Incredible, His show name in that set was "Qualude". birdgirl can correct my spelling,... well, he usually has an apendage, (two p's? birdgirl help me out here), well,.... you know, hanging out of, (I don"t know what you would call it, costume?), around his croch (croch, is that right?)

Thanks in advance sweet heart.

I don't know what "The Tubes" was! Unless I do and just don't recognize it. '79 would have been during my studious phase, so I probably missed out on some fun. I know Lindsay Buckingham but not the rest of it. Sounds funny with Quaaludes and hanging parts and such, tho. Someone link me to something that tells me more about it!

Birdgirl, The Tubes were a band out of California. They were half concert half production. How can I discribe them.....
(kind of like a Las Vegas show with a pretty decent band all on LSD).

Fee Waybill, and a woman whos' name I don't recall, were pretty much the bill.
Cheri had an early release album that opened up etc.. Had lots of pics of shows. really a fun album, nothing like it.

One picture I'll never forget, was of Quaalude (Waybill) in those HUGH heeled shoes. Go to psycho4buds' signature and click on His link "white kids on dope", it's hillarious. The picture was (Waybill) in that outfit (appendages and all) leaning way back in those shoes, In front of a hugh stack of Marshall Amps.
(Tube Amps) by the way, with this bizarre guitar. (two z's or two r's)?

Do a google search for "the tubes" you'll probably get alot of audio sites but just navigate thru those. I know, I have a lot of Vacume (my spelling, no joke) audio gear.

Oh, quaalude has two a's.

I'll go do some research. Can't believe I missed this in life! I also missed real Quaaludes. . . .

I just totally missed the Tubes. Completely. And I don't see how now that I saw that link through Psycho4Bud's signature. They've done lots of work! Well, thanks for introducing me now. I feel as if I've just learned I somehow missed something key like "This is Spinal Tap." Like I said, I must have been studying or being over-sheltered.

An interesting thing happened when I was watching the Tubes video through that link. My sister wandered in to the door of my computer room and then my son. They just sort of stood there wide-eyed, curious to see what I was listening to and wanting to watch it through. And all four of the animals in the house--two cats and two Chihuahuas--came from parts distant and sat at attention nearby as long as the music lasted. Mom's not usually rocking out at 8:45!

Another apology for another tangent. I'm causing thead attention deficit disorder.

I think the people all liked it that I was watching something out of character. The general opinion is that I need to stretch my wings and have more fun than I do. The animals actually seemed to like the music! They sat with their ears perked up like they were listening carefully. Everybody but the orange tabby, that is. He had one ear cocked to the side. But that's ony because he knew he was at risk of being jumped by a Chihuahua and wanted to hear her coming up behind him.

You know what? A beautiful thing is happening tonight on this board. In addition to this conversation, I mean. I've not gotten one single, solitary "The Server Is Too Busy" mesage all evening. The maintenance y'all did last night must have worked some server magic! It's great.

I think they switched to a new server....problem should be solved!
If you like the tubes you would probably love White Witch! Class of 2000...classic!

Have a good one!

Thanks guys,

Both of you, this has been some of the most enjoyable time I have had for a while now. I love this forum. Spiritual has been good to. It can be a bit labor intensive. We have developed some mutual respect over there, but on a forum like that theirs going to be some intensity, you know ~ you get some athiest and diest together, theres going to be alittle jousting. We have buddied up some, I think now we can all prod each other there and all keep our respective dignity. I may suggest that both sides determine a book for the opposing side to read. Can you imagine?
GOTA MIXITUP BABY! If it isn't challanging, then it's just pansy.

I travel around the country involving my work.
I have been away for several months, St. Louis, Ks. City, Now in Indy.
My wife, who I adore, works weekends (16's).... greatly reduces my motivation to fly home weekends. I used to every week, but between her exhaustion when she gets in and airfare.... well, you know.

Its' been almost a month since I've seen her.
You know they say; use it or lose it....
I'll try to get her here before July 4th. When I'll be home for that week.

Double Oak does it right on the 4th. They have a parade, Everyone has acreage. So mtr heads have shops on their properties, well, hotrods, street rods, Alfa Romeo neighborhood club, classic cars. In the Parade people get out their Lawn tractors, dirt bikes, portable washing machines, you know any thing with wheels.they also have allowed us to ride our dirt bikes on the street, for the entire day.

I'll see my three dogs, awsome animals, two Blk Std. Poodles. and a Blk Mouth Kur. Boy, I miss em.

Jeff, my big male tries to sleep with me. We rescued him for a hundred bucks. His mother was the National Champion, a breeder out of Denton. He can spy out what is on the counter tops by simply raising his head.

The female we paid five hundred for, is a genetic basket case. But, I love her. She really is half nuts. To play ball with her, you have to roll it to her like you would a little child.

Amazingly, If she wants to play, the other two dogs, eather of which could bite her in half, don't dare to attempt to intervene..... they are called bitches for a reason.

Braddog and Pastor320, I'm feeling sensitive to you more formally religious folk at the moment and am going to come straight out and tell you that I just wrote a facetious and rather mean-spirited fantasy on the politics board that involved Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell that I hope will not in any way offend your sensibilities or make you think I'm a Christian-hating person. I apologize in advance if you happen across that and take offense at it!

sweet heart look,

I care deeply for people. I don't care what their views are.
I can allready tell that you... The best way for me to put this is,

I learn from you. I read your post, and the kindness that you display. - Come On - this is not hard to say.
Anyone else reading nows this clearly. I observe statements from some that would stretch me.... to find, that on the heel of their post is your kind acceptance. that immediately follows.

Its' Ok baby,

Your student,
hopefully with a passing grade.

You're so sweet. You are. What a kind message. You pass with an A+ 100, and you clearly teach, too. Just did. Wow.

Quit worrying about that spelling stuff. You've probably noticed by now that I'm not running the spell check on my stuff. I'm Miss Typo Texas.

Birdgirl,

Remember, God removed the fig leaves. Self covering/hideing is never good.

How is it, that you know to throw them off, when the church has had a history of keeping them on.

Thank you, for your acceptance also,

Brad

Well, goodnight, Braddog. I'm signing off for the eve. Talk to you soon, I hope. I think I also wrote you an email, if that was you. And it had to have been. Rest well.
