diche's first grow

OK so well I have never grown before I thought I could log everything I do and get tips along the way, and achieve a better crop the next season!!!

I germinated about 8 seeds I found in some good bud around the 5th or 6th of May. Three grew roots after about three days, the others showed no signs of life for 10 days so I pitched them ;) ! Planted them in Jiffy pots and the cotylon was visible the next day.

Now its week five for these guys or girls (who are nameless:( ) yesturday I transplanted them into larger pots that are located in the perfect place!

Its in a old field, a line of trees to the north blocks visiblity, while bieng exposed to morning sun, and direct light until about 5pm. I will have some pics tomorrow becuase I visit them every other day. I also set up some chicken wire to keep animals away.

Today I took pics of my plants but the software is incompatable and it will be a few days. I also think i have a pic or two of the deer at my spot. today i watered with a 5mL/L solution of 20-20-20 fertilizer, giving each plant about 400mL. They smell pretty good (if you smell right up close)
I dunno but is that deer gonna be a problem?

Deers can be a problem yes, if it's only 1 deer and he or she keeps coming back i'd cage the grow site up because they will eat it ...though your worst enemy is BUGS! :mad: In the great outdoors

k well when i shot the foto of the deer it ran away, then I saw it agian close to my grow op, they are covered with durable plastic chicken wire

I have been noticing the tips of my lower leaves are white and then brown behind that. And also leaves next node up are browning from a small point and curling slightly to that spot heres what I mean:

hmm mine are kinda doing the same but not wilting.

you might try putting those pots in the shade. the black plastic can get very hot in direct sunlight and overheat the roots. a couple boards placed in strategic locations are all it takes until they're ready to be transplanted...which won't be long in those 1 gal's. about the time they're into alternate branching they'll be showing preflowers and will be rootbound and ready for bigger area...preferably set free in the ground. but if continuing to use the plastic pots, paint em white and/or keep em shaded.

what soil are you using ? they don't look like bad baby plants ,did you add any nutes to them ? at an early age ,that can cause problems

I am gettin bombared w/ questions so I will answer them all here. First ok I think I will piant the pots white (they are actually green right now) I have them like that in case of discovery or in case my bro or friend desides to leak them, the plants can be easily relocated.

My plants are not wilting they are just leaning to the sun :)

No they don't have any names...im not very good or origonal in that area so ur help would be awesome!! Here all are three ;)

I am using a potting soil, nutrientless. Its got perlite, vermiculite, Lime, and peat. On week four I gave each plant 400mL of a 5mL/L solution of 20-20-20 fertilizer. I also gave the seedlings a two drop per cup solution of transplanter liquid fertilizer.

kwl. I got bad news for this thread......if i cant get a driver to make my cam work so there isnt gonna be pics for a while. my old digital cam is for a win98 conputer and it doesnt work on my XP..also i am gone for 7 weeks in the summer in greece teaching kids to speak english, but i got my bro to tend to the plants. so tight

hey diche those plants look promising. may i suggest you dig holes and bring a few bags of soil down and transplant them into the ground. this will give them the potential to become monsters at the same time cutting your watering down to once or twice a week. they look pretty good. have fun and enjoy

Well i was thinking that incase of emergency or other need of relocation it would be best to keep them like this. they are in pots on tiles, on the ground for more effient drainage. plus since they face north east, they kinda curve a little, so i can rotate the plants to straightn the stalks. 90 degrees twice a week

Well m.g. I owe u one. When i flushed my plants the water coming out the bottom was like 10 degrees hotter than water poured on top. So the next day I bought white spray paint and coated the pots.

I've noticed that the plant that has suffered the most burning from fertilizer (cause i gave WAY too much) is the biggest, tallest and thickest. Is the burning a temporary price for lusher growth. if that makes sence cause im really baked

Today was pretty cool. While inspecting my plants i heard an saw the snow birds flying above in formation, five of them. For all u that dont know who they are they are basically some of the best show pilots in Canada. I have a pic I took of a snow bird plane when i went to an airbase in Borden.

I think Im on some sort of bad luck streak, and I never did anything bad or superstitiuos.

In three days:
-my mom found my pipe, rooting clones, and 3g of bud
-two flat tires on my bike
-a flat tire in my drivers ed car AND one on my mom's car
-and.....sigh......my plants were stolen :mad:

If you have read the thread where I found some guy's grow-op, I didn't take them because of this feeling. I poured my heart and soul into those babies and then one day they are just gone! I feel like my life has gone to shit, and have little or no excuse to get up in the morning other than to get stoned and play videogames by myself, cause I m in no mood for my friends' 'I told ya so' s. I actually cried a bit, but after I got high that day, I realized that the only people I told was my bro and ONE friend. My bro has been at work 24/7 and my friend has been spreading the word cuase he is a fag that is getting mad at my bro cause he thinks my bro is gonna tell everyone. I think it was my friend that took em becuase when he brought the subject up a sesh a while ago, some chick, wanted to talk to him in private....and a bunch more stuff that takes too long to type.

I'm feeling a bit better now. but I am now going all detective and my friend and all the fucken people he's told. I think the next time I grow will be next year, but since I am leaving to go to calgary for University, I'll grow a couple auto-flowering ones and tell only my bro, cause hes the only one I trust now. and if I somehow get my plants back, all the fucking bud is going to me and my other friend, cause at least he stays the fuck quiet about that shit.
