both of those lamps appear to be 'blue' temp., fine for vegging, but not for flowering ... go here : http://www.1000bulbs.com/category.php?category=2086 thats where I buy my specialty bulbs, good reading, tells you all you need to know, if you read the details ... P.S. those small 'screw-in' sodium bulbs still require individual ballasts ... $$$ :smokin:

i would just go with cfls, those incandescent flood lights suck. too much heat for the small amount of light output. cfls are just as cheap and do a much better job imo. and as I.R. stated above, even the smaller hps bulbs, although they will fit into a standard socket, they must have the appropriate ballast.
