I thought you bid trump and earned tricks in bridge. But I didn't know bridge was a Parker Brothers game!

It was a question out of a "Trivia Adventure" game.

I was thinking spades. I always like that game. I like trumping someone and slamming the card down, so it makes a slapping sound. But it is not by Parker Bros. It is a card game.

I own this game...allow me to quote the box....
"ROOK, a blaze of lightening...A wind turned cold. Beware the power of of the rook. The eerie black bird can make all the difference.
Four players(options for two, three, five or six). Partner or not. You bid. You name trump. You take tricks(when youre lucky and smart). But beware of the wild ROOK! When he lands everything can change.
A classic game ( a favorite since 1906. Oh my!)<~~~it really says that
Easier than bridge. more challenging than hearts.....vblah blah blah"
