Has alcohol changed your life like marijuana has? I know that mj has made such an impact on me in a positive way. I know many find it spiritually helping as well but ive never heard of alcohol changing someones view on life.

Ugh, no way has alcohol changed my life. I rarely drink. Just another reason why Marijuana is better.

It's not changed my life that I can tell. Well maybe it's gave me some extra padding around the middle, but I'm working on that. I don't think it's changed my attitude or anything. I loves the beer like any other man, but I try not to have too many. On average I prolly go through a six pack a week. I'm allowed one a day, but some days I give it up to have two another day (like having ribs on a friday night). Hey that sounds good, I think I'll pick up some beer, ribs and some chunk charcoal and fire up the smoaker. Ribs this week baby :thumbsup:

Yea I cant say its changed my life, I enjoy getting drunk and doing stupid things but I love just toking and enjoying it that minute after I smoke. And I dont got to worry about hangovers!

I've only known folks for whom alcohol has changed their lives for the worse. And I can understand how that happens.

I have two uncles on both sides of my family who were alcoholics. So I figure I have a gene for that addiction whether I want it or not. And that's why I only drink an occasional light beer. Don't want to ask for trouble there.

I have alcohol. A half-bottle (1.75 L.) of Smirnoff Triple Distilled Vodka and 30 cans of Yuengling (I counted).

it hasnt really changed my life but its made a lot of nights pretty crazy but fun and memorable (parts lol)

eh alcohol is ok. its kinda neither here nor there in terms of changing lives, if used how it's supposed to be used it's just a fun thing to drink every once in awhile.

Alcohol and Marijuana have never added anything to my life. It is simply a form of relaxation. I will concede to say that I find that I examine things from a broader perspective when I smoke. But overall, my life would be the same with or without alcohol and/or weed.

I guess alchohol has changed my life.
I've learn alot of hard lessons drinking I don't see how I would learned them other wise. The thing about alcohol is its only as bad as you want it to be. ie how bad you truly wana lose your mind and if you wana lose you mind alchohol is the right drug. I don't lose my inhibitious unwilling I don't think any one does. I get fucken pissed when people blame their problems on it too. Its your own fucking fault no matter what.

But on the other hand I like to drink. Sometimes I set out with the ambition to have a good time. Then i get the ambition to get smashed. My idea of fun might be perverted, but im a saner drunk than most.

In the past I have been a pretty big drinker. At Uni a typical night was to share a bottle of vodka with a mate and then go out and have a load more beer and spirits. It creates fun nights but apart from that not much else. I prefer just having a few beers now, occasionaly I will go on a massive bender and drink loads. I get two day hangovers though so I pay for it. Weed is a much much better and more interesting drug.:rasta:

Alcohol has caused me nothing but problems.....whenever I drink which isnt much I do stupid shit and so does my friends.

Two days ago me and a mate where sitting in my house till 4am drinking a litre of dark rum. At around 3ish I must of been sick somewhere outside because it cleared my head and I wanted some sleep. So I go to sleep and my friend ends up fucking my back garden up completely.

My house is suck a fucking mess at the moment....I fucking hate you alcohol! DIE!

But while it's there, its just a poison. A little alcohol doesn't hurt while a little marijuana hurts a little bit. A lot of alcohol is devastating, while a lot of marijuana still hurts not too much.

Anyway, yeah marijuana changed my view on life and alcohol didn't

Alcohol is good, but not when i drink stupid amounts. I'd rather be stoned than drunk.
alcohol has nothing to my life apart from get me into fights and be sick.

Weed has changed my life for the good, it makes me think, and it means im not an idiot that listens to the bullshit the goverment try and say.

i cant imagine alcohol being anywhere near as enlightening spiritually or physically as pot. When i smoke i think random thoughts and come up with great ideas and like to debate topics and chill. Alcohol to me is just an intoxicant when i get drunk i just get fucked up and do nothing constructive ever. Its fun though but it isnt a part of my life like the marijuana culture is
