Will i get high??? please help!

ok, so i had a tiny amount of shake and i proceeded to clean my pipe. I Put the resin in my tiny bag of shake and compacted the weed and resin together in a little ball that really resembles some hash (Ive only seen it in pics). Its a little bigger than a large pea. Will this get me high? How does resin smoke? I am a novice smoker fyi (2wice a week).

BTW, I don't know if you have already smoked it or not, but tips on resin...

Resin usually needs to be heated a bit more than just herb. With herb, you spark it and suck it over the pipe for a second, it's gonna be burning. With resin, it needs more heat as its more of a tar-like substance, so leave the lighter there for...I don't know, try 4-5 seconds.

Also, for reasons unbeknownst to me, me and a wide variety of people I know say that with resin you don't feel the hit in your lungs as much as it burns your throat (probably due to the higher temperature used to burn), but that when its time to stop sucking, you'll feel it. All of a sudden it'll just be like, "OH SNAP! I HAVE A HIT!" and by that time, you're usually coughin.

eh, ive smoked resin. its alright. its only good for when you really have NOTHING else. it didnt get me HIGH AS HELL or anthing, just a different more "clear" high. nothing spectacular, tastes like shit and is hella bad for you though

Its not HELLA bad for you, besides the fact that its tar and has more carcinogenic compounds, weed itself has over 4,000. The only thing about resin is that it just puts a little bit more tar on your alveoli per hit in comparison to weed.

And also, resin can be consistently over 60-70% pure THC, as compared to even the dankest of weed which only gets to 25-30%. Resin is almost like hash, you get a shitload of it and press it together and sometimes you can't even tell if you shape it, besides the fact that its usually darker than the good hash.

just take the ball, put it ona peice of tin foil, then, get a straw, or sometihng like it, and heat the bottom of the foil, with the resin on top. and suck in the straw, hold it in as long as possible, you wont get alzheimers.

I have done research on the subject but I'm not going to say I'm completely right or anything, that wasn't my intention, I wasn't trying to say everything was fact, ya know? I just ramble when I'm high and I just pulled stuff out of my memory. I can't remember where I got the info at the moment, maybe it was on the boards. The fact is, we'll never know. And its not like I said it'll happen all at once, the reason why you get a shitload of resin is from smoking weed all of the time. If you use a bowl, like I do, and you use it all of the time, the resin and THC builds up over time. Resin DOES have higher concentrations of THC than bud.
