Let me tell you about my friend. he is hella strong, my size, cocky, a jock, has most of the same interests as me and is extremly funny.( specially at anoying teachers.) okay i met this guy in 6th grade, and i was clean then ( no drugs). in 7th grade i started toking and he did too. we were smokin bbuddies. then i was at his house and his mom thought i was high ( i was ) and my friend got so scared he is now completly ANTI DRUG. i mean he finds out i smoke or do any other drugs, he usually gets rlly mad at me for 2 weeks or just hits me. This mad on and off bull shit has been going on scince 7th grade when i nearly got caught. and its REALLY starting to piss me off. i really want to be best freinds with him still but he needs to stay THE FUCK OUT MY BUSINNESS. its so fucking anoying hes like a n osy mom but worse. and hes always callin me a stoner and talking down to me and shit like that. he also sh1t talks alot when hes mad at me cuz of drugs. he lets other frineds do them but scince we were/are still best freinds he "dosent want me to fuck up my life" and thinks " thats what i am doing." i dont know what to do. should i just talk to him about my drug situation and to stop baggin on me and stay the fuck out my business. because these kind of people are the people i tend to hate but weve been close for more than 3 years. hes also hanging out with all the show off and sluts of my school wich is gay but i dont care. anyway. WHAT SHOULD I DO??? all suggestions would be okay. thankyou:thumbsup:

Well, I would make sure that you want to stay buds with this guy. If he's hanging out with a buncha of pousers, a group you don't particularly like, stay clear for a while. If spending time with him means spending time with the group you don't like, then I'd say let it go.
If, however, you can spend some time one on one with him, do some reasearch on mj and expose some of the lies to him. He needs to get that D.A.R.E shit out of his head. Let him make up his own mind about it, after hearing the truth. If all is cool between you, then just do the shit you normally would. Tell him "I won't try to convert you, if you will let make my own choices." If the nagging starts up again, it may be time to cut the strings.

I'd take him aside and say that it's really none of his business that you smoke, and that you appreciate the fact that he cares about you a lot and the descisions that you make, and that's cool I guess, but true friends shouldn't really be trying to judge, they should just like you the way that you are and accept you, because you are your own person, see what I mean? I dunno.. that's kinda a tough situation.. do you really want to still be friends with him?

I would tell him thanks for being concerned but theres no need to be, if he was a true friend he wouldent judge you for your use of marijuana. Easy way would just be to tell him to mind his own business and chill out

A 'friend' accepts you no matter what. They take you with your faults and your good points. I think you need to find another friend. I went through this BS too when in HS. I was friends with this kid that moved down from New York. I showed him everything and introduced him to everyone. So as we're entering freshman year, he all of a sudden has an issue with the fact that I smoked. He would call me a 'pothead' and said I'd never amount to anything. So we eventually stopped hanging out and really haven't been in contact since. No big loss...you're not being friends with my weed, your being friends with me and herb doesn't change who I am!!!

He should be made understand that he can't change you doing your d, and learn to live with it. I mean, yeah ok i smoke weed but a few of my friends do a drug I would not in the near future touch and that's ok. I'll be there when they're really go to far and that's what they can use best then, they'll learn. Anyway your friend may be a very cool guy with worrying a bit abolut you. marijuana isn't too much of a danger, but maybe he believes it's like a portal drugs and that kind of shit.

And let him hang out with the sluts, you don't have to follow him every where he goes. There's a positive side to not always hanging out with eachother.
