Looking great Loc! Are you going to pick them within a week? How long have they been in flower? Looks like they could go for another 3 weeks to me. But I enjoy a more mature flower. Do you go by trichome colour?

Latewood is right, the pics are too large. Have a look in Foxbirds grow log. I posted some information in regards to resizing your images easily.

I have AC I keep at 66 to 70 degrees. A dehumidifier that can barely keep it down to 40 %. Eastcoast, normal humidity is about 70 to 80%. And a new hortilux eye 1000HPS. My best friend now. Try a cheap bulb and see the dif. I got a good root system on them at about 1 foot and they love the nutes. I pumped them full, Lucas formula. Thanks man.

Latewood, Sorry I turned my cam up to 6m and can't remeber how to turn it down .I will look at book tomarrow and get some more pic's .I had close up but would not load. I know why now. Late I was haveing probs cloning and saw where you said to shake the water out of the rockwool, thanks. I did that the first few times and forgot this time and just lost a bunch of widow and afgani cause they were to wet.

Bender they are a hardy strain . They love the nutes and strong light. I think my best grow yet. I cloned them and vegged for about a week or so to get about a foot. Then in flower.

elcheapo, yes I go by trichome color. They are turning mostly cloudy now. I might go a little longer or leave the biggest one. I tried the runt out of 6 plants that was only 6 inches and not much crystal and it kicked ass, yesterday. Sorry again for the 6m pic's I will turn it down. I had it on 1m but tried to get macro's that I could blow up to see trichomes better. 3 more weeks and I would go nuts and they would put your dick in the dirt. LOL it's a buzz that creeps on you and then makes you say did I put enough PCP in that. LOL It is real trippy when trichomes are cloudy, amber would probably have me hiding in the woods parinoid. LOL I have 3 white widow and 3 papaya in there now and 6 white widow in veg just waiting.

MY afgani clones are taking root. YEE HAW. Their next. More pics tomarrow not so big.

That's half the fun!
Although I find the amber buzz more mellowing and medicinal.
I'm looking forward to seeing the afgani's under the hortilux eye!
Afgani looks like a strain I could really take to.

hey, bro...just remember! A common misconception is that potency is increased the more amber trichomes you get...keep in mind that when a tric turns amber, it is deteriorating...just a hint. peace, bro

ps...don't you have software for your camera on the computer? This software would have a photo editor, or should...that is how I downsize my pics to around 640x480

I'm getting ready to take pic's in an hour or so before wife gets home. Thanks for the heads up on tric's, I think I like it when I see one or two amber but almost all cloudy. I have not seen an amber yet. Mostly cloudy with 1/4 clear. One more week I think. Oh sounds like a weather report. I have been moving computers around( 4 of them ) to hack satelite tv and don't know where my software is. I can get more pic's easy. Got a bad storm on us now. In a few

JD, I'm just outside the largest Amphibius marine base in the US. Camp LeJune. It's a small world, but if all hell brakes loose the terrorist won't be here. Led flies around here day and night. If a war broke out in my back yard I wounldn't know it. LOL The Osprey are awsome to watch fly and damn the hover craft unreal.

latewood I just took some small bud leaf samples from dif plants so I could get a good look at them tric's. Mostly cloudy, a few clear and a few amber. I think maybe this week end.

Hey mate, in a green house. I could grow huge trees, Man I would like to see that. They should be very high yeilders. I will keep the pic's coming and a dry weight in about a week or so. This is the most I have had in the small room. I can't wait to see how much. Later mate .

Great all you need is one mother. I have been killing just about everything in rockwool lately. Just saw one of your post about shaking out the water like a paint brush. Since then everything is alright. My misty is a dwarf but the good news is the strawberry is showing white hairs. I just need to top it so it will branch more. I'm not to good in a chat room I type too slow. Been kicked out of a few for it. LOL

Do you have messenger...I just downloaded it, so I could talk with Mods, and my Server administrator for new website. It works great for times like when 2 people want to iron out a problem, or just shoot the shit, realtime...
I have 1 more of those papaya's in the flower room...these have been vegging at 14/10 and are showing the pistil's already...I have to choose a MUM

you didn't answer Question about yellowish-green color...were yours dark leaved or real light?

Aaron385
06-11-2006, 08:27 PM
sweet.. so one pound (ish) with what size grow room and lights? How many weeks of flowering? CO2? any other tricks?

LOC NAR1958
06-12-2006, 01:22 AM
Latewood I don't have messenger. Do you just do search for it ? I will. Most of the time they came out yellowish and with age turned dark green. New growth stayed yellowish maybe 2 weeks or so. I will get messenger if the wife doesn't already have it but I type slow. LOL

Aaron, Here's it in a nut shell.
4 x 6 feet 8 feet tall, 6000 BTU AC. Dehumidifier for a 1600 foot room that can barely keep it to 40%. Mylar on alll walls. 1000 watt and let me say my best friend the HORTILUX EYE HPS. Small 10 gallon containers with top drip system runs 24/7. 5 to 6 gallons at all times. 6 / 3 inch net pots per. Hydrotron. 1 inch rockwool starters. Flower room get lucas formula about 1200 PPM's and b-52, calmag+, bud blood for first week and then big bud for the rest of time. Change nutes every 7 to 10 days. Flush between 1 and 2 weeks at end. Wish I ahd co2, it might come soon.
LOC out.

thanks for the details LOC.. BIG Thanks!! I am absorbing as much as I can.. my 6x6x8 room is coming together.. just invested in a co2 controller too.. 1000 watt hps with hortilux eye as well.. I am using 4ft t8 digital flouros at 6500k as side lighting.. went garage sale scouring this weekend for a window unit but came up empty handed.. will keep looking.. is 6000BTU enough? I have dry air here, in my veg room I have a full size humidifier that maintains 50% and uses over a gallon a day.. thats for a small space too!

At first I was like super anxious and nothing was growing fast enough but now its kind of nice as I have FAR exceeded my budget for this project and have to kinda buy things as I can come up with funding.. Now its a race between me and the cron to get the grow room together in time.. although I can buy a little more time by turning the vegging plants into a clone army in preps for the super grow room.. hehe

Im a little worried about cloning though.. I tried to clone some tomatoes (rea l tomatoes) and neither of the two i tried took.. I will probably take initial clones in a week or two and when they are established I will bud them to sex the parent plants and eliminate the males.. Bubble bags will be standing by.. hehe

I should be able to get away with that and probably not even lite off the HPS.. just save some electrons and run floros since all i care about is sexing the first set.. they will be destroyed once sex is established so I can finish up the room for the clone army :)

Thanks again for the detail and I still have not picked a nute schedule or the hydro setup for the flower room yet so that is very good info for me.. Im kind of leaning toward ebb and flow unless anybody gives me a good reason not to.. The way I can set it up the nutes can sit outside the room completely and be pumped in for flood period and completely drained otherwise.. this affords nute changeouts without disturbing the dark period and will allow me to have more plants closer to the ground so they can grow more of the 8 ft up that I have for them.

Not trying to invent anything yet, just utilize the existing stuff to the best of my needs. Thanks again for the info.. its VERY helpful to me!

aaron...hopot seils a 5000 btu brand new for 79.95...No need for the yard sale...On another note...At a yard sale I would be wary of buying a used AC this time of year...know what I mean...
