Hello,

I have had the runs pretty much everyday for the last month or so....I've always been lactose intolerant, but lately, its ridiculous...everyday at least for a few hours out of the day and it keeps me up durin the nite alot.....I have been a daily pothead for the last 3 years, so is all this smoking finally contributing? I asked my mom, and she said when she used to smoke pot she got the runs, so I was just wondering if anywone else does, or maybe I just have another problem hah

I didn't buy it, because I used to be fine it seemed like...

Are you eating late at night or too much ice cream, or cereal, or drinking too much fluids?

no, if anything, heavy cannabis use 'may' constipate, since it slows down the muscle contractions in the bowel ... :(

I drink tons of fluids, but all water pretty much, I dont like sodas really, and I dont drink any alcohol...I quit drinking a couple years ago. My eating habits are healthy homeaid cooking, with some fast food when I can sneak it in. I have a super high metabolism, so I need to be eating alot, or I will get skinny as fuck...I can eat anything I want and I will stay 6'2, 190 no matter what I do...when I was drinking I gained weight a hell of a lot easier, but now since I dont drink I stay at the same weight and about 8 percent body fat...(I got it measured in my health class last semester)

So you might of nailed it on the fluids, if drinking gallons and gallons of ice water a day will contribute....what else should I do, drink gatoraid instead?

No I dont go to bed late, so I never eat late at nite.....
Just good meals around 5-7

I dont eat cereal..it does nothing for me...how bout some hashbrowns, bacon and some eggs instead with some toast on the side.

I dont know....I think I live healthy but shit happens..haha

I've never got the runs from smoking, but i have noticed that
after smoking sometimes I feel the need to take a dump.LOL
Me and my friends were talking about this exact same subject
the other day. I been getting high for about 13 years now and
still get that feeling after getting high sometimes.

Jesus am I talking about my bowel movements ..LOL

Gatorade's a good idea. That might not dilute your "crap" as much as water.

If you have the shits that long you might want to go see a doctor about it.

For a bit of relief, brewer's yeast is fantastic. It's the flaky, yellow kind sold at health food stores. It is also highly nutritious. It is the best thing EVER sprinkled on buttery popcorn!

If it's a lactose problem, lactase enzyme tablets with any dairy product are going to help. An organic farmer buddy of mine told me the other day that pasteurized dairy products are far less digestible than raw milk- you know, the way it comes out of a cow's tit, not heated and sterilized!- raw milk still. contains the enzymes that a calf needs to properly digest it.

Have some organic yoghurt with live cultures. They're good for settling digestive problems.
