It's not a good combination to mix, as you seem to know, but unless you're a tiny, anorexic person or unless you have a respiratory system that's particularly susceptible to CNS depressants, you're probably fine. You may get very, very drowsy.

Are you completely sure they were 10 mg Valiums and that you took only four of them? What is your body weight and are you on any other medications or have you taken any other substances, including over-the-counter meds, herbal supplements, "illicit" drugs, or alcoholic drinks, along with your brandy and valium? Just trying to cover all the bases here.

You're obviously fine, and I'm glad you're healthy and solid enough to withstand that dose, which wasn't a huge one, but you never know how folks willl react. I'm guessing you probably only got sleepy and relaxed, if even that.

Don't mix those two again, though, OK? Tranquilizers and alcohol are dangerous things to combine.
