well im going to start a second grow, unfortunley the light i used last time is no longer here with us.

and this is my question, is about a 800-1000 watt hps. how important is the brand name and quality? i mean i see these on ebay and online shops at a various range of prices, and i am on a tight 500.00 budget for light, seeds and other little supplies. so is a 300.00 one from ebay decent, or someone give me soem advice. thanks

envirolites are not bad im using them they come in 2 sizes and 2 spectrums
blue spec for veging and red spec for flowering
they also come self ballasted and are energy effiecent which is a bonus
here is a link www.envirolites.co.uk
cheers all :)

looks good, but 200 watt is just not enough for me, unless this 200 watt is like a 1000 watt hps some how, i have no idea, haha...

but i need a lamp for 10 plants

i got a great deal locally on a guy who had pendant lights in his shop. I paid $200 for 4 400w lights..... i'd be happy to ship one to you to just make up a little of the money I spent. They're almost brand new. I'm only going to use two for my grow (one veg one flower) and I'm going to keep one if something else comes up or I need more in my flower.
