hey i wanted u guys to read this since u guys know the best. :stoned:
i got 2 plants growing and there about 1 1/2 week old. theyve been growing fine until now. the tips of some of the leaves are turning yellow/brown and the VERY end of the tip is black. sorry i cant take pictures right now but i will soon. I thought it was heat problems so i moved them into the shade alittle but it didnt seem to help. the yellowing/browning of the leaves isnt THAT bad. only the very tips of the leaves are doing it. also ive been growing 50% perlite and 50% topsoil and the perlite has plant food on it...can this be the problem?

Hey jiggaboo. At a week and a half old did you feed them anything?? You said your perlite has plant food on it (N-P-K)?? If you did feed them along with this, this could be the problem. I would try just giving the plant just water for the next 1-2 feedings until it cleans up. Just my 2cents, there may be something else wrong.

without pix, it is so hard to diagnose, nothing to add to trivium's response, except...black tips, not good.

You said the perlite had food on it, does it said how much of N-P-K is in it? I wouldnt dought if that is your problem, black tips are not good at all as lw said.
