I really don't understand some people. I have given warnings regarding sales, hook-ups by e-mail and also given the same on and off the board regarding flaming on others. Well guess what....we now have 5 people on here enjoying a bit of a vacation!

It's easier from a mod stand point to get rid of these folk than to constantly be cleaning up threads of a few. There have been numerous complaints regarding the put downs and attacks and I don't see any other way to deal with it instead of some bans.

Just to let ya all know where I'm comin' from here it is:

1) It's all posted in a sticky in both lounges for ALL to read. From there, I'll give a 3 day vacation

2) Must have enjoyed the 3 days off....lets make it 30

3) You must have some serious issues with life that I personally don't want to deal with....your a lifer on vacation from here.

Lets all try to be respectful and treat each other like fellow stoners!

I also feel that any boards made concerning members that are banned should be kept to the feedback forum and be made with simplicity.. no more of this "should this person be allowed back" and "what will you say when they come back"..more recently they've been about one member specificly, who was banned for good reasons, and continues to understand those reasons. People are banned for VERY good reason, why would we try to reduce the amount of people on here willingly? Just because we don't agree with your opinion? I think not...

We simply ask that you respect the members .. ALL members here... wether they're banned or not.. is really non of your concern.. and if you feel it is, keep it in the feedback forum please..

Yeah, I was talking with P.E.N.G.U.I.N. the other day on MSN.. and we both kinda agreed that Cannabis.com has been going down the crapper lately because it seems like it's just full of 15-year-old pricks that seem like they're trying to show how badass that they are and shit.. and it was just getting on my nerves after a while.

I mean, I come here to just chill out and talk to coolass stoners about weed and other drugs, I'm not trying to prove how much of a "badass" that I am by the quality of my weed or the drugs that I've done.

People like that need to just make their own damn forum to stroke their e-peens.

But, it seems like this new set of rules provided by Psycho4Bud and BobBong and the rest of their ilk will be the definitive improvement that Cannabis.com has been needing for a long, long time.

Or, at least I hope so.

Hey, I thank you all for the support of this!!! It was getting old with all the flaming back and forth...every other thread. I felt that when people come in here that they wanted to just chill with some stoner friends and have a good time. What a depressant to see all the flaming.......MAJOR buzz kill! So when the new rule about personal attacks come out, I figured what the hell, lets see if this can change.

Especially with the ladies in here....bad mouthing someones daughter, mother, wife...like I've seen in here from time to time. I know all the dudes in here wouldn't let that fly in real life with their own! Consider that when you post gentleman....would I let this fly in the real world?

I come from a time when you went to a concert, the room was blue and people were passing pipes to others they didn't even know. Now it's NO SMOKING and we got mosh pits where people beat the hell out of each other.......I don't understand it, DAMN, GIVE THESE PEOPLE A PIPE!! lol

I didn't want to be the heavy but I really saw no alternative....we were getting complaints on how it was a big flame war in here, not enjoyable anymore, etc........well, enough babbling.......Thanks again folks for the support on this!

Well I checked it out and I agree it's no way to talk to a lady but it is in the politics forum. There are things that are said and done in there and the sexuality forum that would not be tolorated in any of the others.....just because of the nature of the beast.

It would be nice to clean up these areas but in the real world doesn't politics lead to such things as war and hate? We can't even get leaders of government to act civil.......enough said on that.

Where would it start and stop in politics? Can we call each other neo-con, dumbocrats, republitards, nazi, ignorant, liberal pussies, etc........that's some of the "nicer" names I've seen used in there in the past. Hell, look up some of the older posts between myself and nicholasstanko, hempity, pisshead, gumby. Me and nich used to REALLY have some knock down no holds barred "discussions".

Some of the names in politics that have been banned were because of either false accusations against SEVERAL members, or posting politics in several other forums after being warned, people coming back during a ban with a different user name (a few of them popped up).

I would encourage Bong30 and others/including myself, to use a little more discretion when posting in politics and I would also encourage that for you people that post in sexuality. There is no need for the names, etc....I believe we that we could get our views, opinions posted without it. Would't it be nice to have a group of stoners...such as ourselves...set an example for these idiots that run our governments?

Morning, Bud! As it turns out, I think it all got worked out between us, as grownups are capable of doing. I felt rather pleased with that fact alone. I shouldn't have posted here and even wasted the space on it in the early moments after it happened. I know the politics forum in particular alights passions and antipathy like no other.(Probably why I don't even go into the Religion area!) Happy weekend to you, our friend and shepherd!
