Ok 2 Questions. I just started flowering about 5 days ago.

#1. Should i leave the fan turned on while they are in darkness?

#2. When you say "complete" darkness, will the red LED from the fan be an issue? I've tested any light leaks and there are none....except for that little red light from the fan which really doesn't illuminate anything, BUT....its not "complete darkness" like you guys say.

Like someone said on here not so long ago, the 'myth' of total darkness is a load of balls. Sure you want to keep the light leaks to a minimum, but what happens in nature when the moon and stars are out?
Ooh, theres light coming from those stars. I wouldnt worry about a little red LED.

usually when the lights go off is when the humidity rises,so leaving the fan going will help keep air circulating to keep mold away.also if you are worried just put a peice of black tape over the light

Thanks a lot guys.....thats what i thought, but some people "swear" by complete utter darkness.

i would agree that complete darkness is better, but not absolutely necessary. Be very carefull about letting real light get on there though.

Hey guys....where do the bud sites start to develop? I'm a week into flowering and what i thought were going to be budsites are just more leaves.

There is a major difference between FORCED flowering and flowering naturally which is why the moon and starts don't affect an outdoor grow. When forcing the plant into flower it is doing so un-naturally thus the reason for the need for sticking with a strict light regimen.
