Hey there, MM! What a nice offer. Thank you for thinking of me, but no, I've got to stay around here. My sister, the one with ovarian cancer, has had a rough, rough week with a lot of pain after another operation this past Tuesday, and I'm the only one available right now to give her her meds and move her around or get a little soup into her or whatever. My husband and son have gone off on a weekend guy-bonding trip, and so I'm the only "nurse on duty." I can't easily leave her alone for a few more days.

You're so sweet to think of me, though! That's really nice.

That's cool. I think we're both in McKinney. We should get together for coffee or a movie sometime.

I'm in Frisco! Yes, let's do that one of these days. A few more days of recovery and she won't be so zonked out on pain meds and I can leave more easily. We're also thinking about getting a home care attendant to help out with more of the stuff around here.

P.S. And thanks for the kind words about Bess. I'm sorry she's sick, too. It's been awful, and it's not going to get any better, I'm afraid.
