Is it true that amsterdam is going to make weed illegal after this year?

I was talking with this dude that knows alot about drugs and he was tellin me that after this year weed will no longer be legal in Amsterdam. If this is true then that fuckin sucks, me and my friend were planning on moving there after high school. please tell me if this true or not if you have any idea.

but it is not coming from that far ..
amsterdam gets problems like many other dutch cities, cause of the legal status ..
i read reports of rising usage of cannabis products of youngsters arriving stoned at primary school ...
and like other dutch cities the citizens complain about the stream of cannabis tourism , leading to a much higher number of street dealers
( never buy anything on the street in the netherland ... you will be at least ripped off , in some cases physically harmed by bad material ( in the case u get any)
and a much higher pollution ..
its sad but uts fact :(

but they´ll never change their law ... there is a way to big business in the netherlands if all those people should get criminalized things´ll get worse !

weed IS illegal in amsterdam(holland) but it is just tolerated by authorities, according to my weed world, issue 51(i think)it states all the laws for european countries and it says that it is actually illegal, but only just, and u cant get in trouble for having under 5grama on u.

so the law is :
YOU CAN BUY CANNABISPRODUCTS UP TO 5 gramm a day in a coffeeshop
you are not allowed to visit a coffeeshop twice a day
you are not allowed to visit more then one coffeeshop0 a day ( whether you bought 5 gramm or less)
you are not allowed to smoke in public
you are allowed to smoke in a cs or at your place
the amount tollerated is about 15 gramm for your personal usage
you can have it with you where ever you want as long as it stays in your pocet
when you are found smoking in public the dutch opperates :
1. mostly nothing
2. pay a fee that is equal the amount of mony u spend on the found material
3. give your material to the cops

you are right cannabis was never legal in the netherlands ( in the last 100 years ..) it was just tollerated since the early 70ties
tollerated means
u can buy a "small amount" up to 5 g.
u can a have personal use weed up to 15g.

a coffeeshop is licenced to sell cannabis products ( just 5 g / pers)
but there still is a problem
where do they get their weed from ...

so its all half legal and half illegal means
tollerated

we got a prety similar law in germany, but we have no coffeeshops
just a bit harder
5 gramms ( the police can , but doesn´t have to quit the progress)
15 gramms ( the police has to follow this but most likely the judge is for not guilty because of personal usage)

there was a case when someone was busted and the hole fridge was found filled with herb , he was sentenced free, cause of personal usage ... he said he sometimes gets a few gram out of the fridge and smokes it )

It is legal. They have it written in their Constitution that says citizens can buy marijuana at selected coffee shops, or can grow up to 3 plants. Those who said that they are just laid back about it are fucking idiots. Prostitution is also legal in Amsterdam.
