Is a 1000 watt HPS ballast worth getting or should i spend money on fluoros or even a lower wattage HPS?

i would get a 250w halide for veggin and a 400w hps for flowering.
it also depends on the size of your grow area.

or you could just get a 400watt switchable ballest like i did then you dont need to switch sockets and ballest, you also dont have to store the one not in use, unless your going to have a veg and flower chamber both. i got mine and www.grow-light.com it wasnt very cheap but it was great quailty and great shipping and service. just a thought

yeah id do what ima said. i forgot about those dual lighting systems.
