If anyone has the ability to gather a few of the infamous Colorada River Toads and send them to me overngiht, I'd be more than abliged to compensate them for there time and work. I'm doing a study on the 5-MEO-DMT that the Bufo Alvarius (Colorado River Toad) produces versus the bufotenin that several of the Alvarius species produce. Any help would be appreciated!

Is it legal to own them?

Interestingly, the toad as a symbol is traditionally associated with altered states. Beautiful amphibian too, its like a pet that gives something back to you. I might like to raise some :D

Yes, 5-MEO-DMT is uncontrolled in the U.S.

300 dollars for male and female is outrageous!!! I'd be willing to pay around 50-70 for several toads and maybe in the 100's if they arrived in good health and such. But anyone from Colorado or Phoenix should really take advantage of this and help yourself and me out!

now I just need to find someone that would be willing to go and catch some of the toads for me! I'd even send them some of the 5-MEO-DMT that I get from the thing!

Euphoric, have you done this before by any chance? ;)

How difficult is it to actually find and identify and catch one of these toads--and can they be found in any other states besides Colorado? I actually once heard that they are common (and cheap) in pet stores for some reason, possibly all over the country. Do they require a highly controlled environment?

identifying the actual toad is relativly easy, there found in arizona in the desert and in colorado and i highly doubt that they'd be sold in pet stores considering they're almost 200 dollars for a single toad on the internet.

Wow cool, same background. Follow the signs ya

Are Bufo Alvarius an endangered species? Probably best to order an already captive toad or two than steal some free living ones, better karma.

heh no i havent done DMT at al yet but this toad project is a sure thing :D

heh no i havent done DMT at al yet but this toad project is a sure thing :D oh I see. I just assumed you had experience with toads since you had so much information/links ready to post.

Then again, I've gone through a phase of looking all that stuff up too, even though I never followed through with it. I'm not sure where I read the pet store thing. I suppose it's possible that bufo alvarius have been found mixed in with other toads at stores, unknowingly marked for the same price. I'm sure there's no realistic reason for people to charge so much though, only because they can.:(

btw, ayahuasca is incredible.;)
