I guess that I had bad luck with seedboutique.com, because I sent my order on May 8th (June 1st as of now) and still have not recieved my order. I knew the chances of getting my beans intercepted could happen, but DAMN!! I heard so many good reviews on seedboutique.com that I thought it would come to the U.S. for sure! My process: I went to the local Postal Office and purchased an envelope. Next, I filled out the order form and went to the local convience store that had Western Union. I then purchased an $111 money order and placed everything that I needed to complete my process inside of the envelope, and mailed it off (84 cents for International shipping) to the seedboutique.com company. I also used a fake name and a friend's P.O. Box so I could recieve the order. What in the World did I do wrong?? Could someone please give me tips on what to do different next time, and also, another reputable bean company that I can rely on to ship to the U.S.??

Have you emailed them to find out the status of your order?

I bought seeds from canada and it took over 6 weeks to get them, so you may just need to be a little more patient.

Also, did you make sure to send an INTERNATIONAL money order and not just a regular one? It makes a difference to them, although I don't know the reason why.

Also when you send something like that overseas SPEND the extra money and have it shipped Global Express sure its another $25-30 but you can at least confirm through the USPS that it got there because they have to sign for it. By sending it like you did it could take up to 3-4 weeks to get there remember its a US Govt. division that in itself tells you alot.

You still might get them. see if you can get up with them. They may not be able to cash western, should of been international money order. You should check with western to see if it got cashed. I know peeps get pariniod about ordering seeds but I have dealt with other thing that are not to be in US without problems. I ordered from DrChonics 3 or 4 times in the last 8 months with a credit card and my address, screw it . They are busy looking for the big bad guy's and hardly mess with someone who just wants afew seeds. Not like I can make a nuke or something. hope you get them later.

On seedboutique.com in the FAQ section (5. How To Order) it stated:
Money Orders:

We accept regular USD Money orders. International Money Orders are NOT required. Any money order from available from most gas stations, convenience stores, grocery stores and the like will be accepted. Make Payable to ICM Ltd. or leave blank.

I tried to send an International Money Order from the Post Office, but the clerk told me they do not make money orders for the UK (United Kingdom). I don't know why they would accept USD Money Orders instead of International, but who knows?? I will try to be a little more patient with the order, and I'll be emailing them shortly after I get off of the forum. How long should I wait before attempting to send an order out to a different company?

I'll be sure to definitely do that the next time I try to order overseas. How long does it usually take to reach the UK? Is there a tracking number included with the Global Express package?

Why not use a UK seed company? Having it shipped that far seems a bit much when your doing things with money orders...

i would not order from sd,thier has ben problems with change of owners and shit going on their.i think dr chronic would be a safer way to go,if you don't get your seeds.

Thanks for the help! Dr. Chronic was my second choice from the beginning (Wish it was my first, LOL). I've heard alot about Dr. Chronic being good, so I will definitely try Dr. Chronic next, if I don't recieve my beans in 2 weeks. The only downfall to Dr. Chronic is that they don't have BOG's seed company. But I can make another choice if it comes down to it.

I was kind of skeptical about ordering from a Canadian company, because people from other forums told me to stay away from a Canada and Amsterdam-based company because of the police cracking down on the bean banks in those countries. Thats why my choices came down to Seed Boutique and Dr. Chronic which are UK-based companies. Good that you recieved your order, but if comes down to another choice I will try Hemp Depot. I have waited 6 whole weeks (sent order on May 8th, and as of now its June 17th) for my seeds to come in the mail. I really don't think that they are coming in the mail, anymore eversince I had trouble getting a book out of the P.O. Box (http://boards.cannabis.com/showthread.php?t=69993). I would hate to give up on my dreams of growing some of the best herbs that the world has to offer, but I'm just doing nothing but losing money!! I guess its because I'm new to all of this. I've been reading tips on how to get beans in the mail, but everything I have done has failed so far. Hate to sound depressing, but how would you react if you kept losing money for nothing?

I have a PO Box at the local UPS store and the guy in there told me that I need to give him a list of names that I well be getting under as if its not on the list they send it back. Really sorry to hear you haven't gotten them as of yet. Yes the tracking number is included that way you know they at least got your $$$. Whats your alias on ICmag Boss ? You'll get the seeds. Your payment just is being slow getting there. I've had things take 4 weeks just from canada sent the economy service. If they're intercepted, you'll get a letter saying "Cannabis seeds...blah blah blah blah...Cannabis seeds...blah blah blah...illegal, so you don't get them." So unless you don't get that letter, you should get them.

Very satisfied with Kind Seeds. Orders do get confiscated sometimes, seems like about 1 out of 15. That's one reason I order from Kind. Huge selection, gauranteed delivery, credit cards. Seeds come in 2 weeks.

If your order was confiscated at the border you will get a notice telling you so. A few days later the cops will take you away. Just kidding about that last part. Nothing else happens.

it won't matter who you go with as long as your name isn't registered for the address you are using. and that postal worker is wrong about the m.o.'s...the uk accepts those pink, intl m.o.'s. ask gypsy...better yet, call him! that's what the number is for. just get a phone card and you'll get an answer right away but my bet is the name on the package wasn't registered for the box so it's in transit back to the sender. you need to let them know what's going on if satisfaction is expected. there have been a rash of these types of posts lately and most could have been solved by first communication with the seller before sending off the order and second, the address matching where the buyer is to pick it up. it's a combination of both and people sending cash should especially be cautious and sure contact has been made so both parties are working off of the same page...

and other times orders are held because stock is currently out and a second choice wasn't written down and without further instructions they wait until new stock comes in...once again, communication is the key!

My name on ICmag is BOSS30349. I should be getting my P.O. Box tommorrow. So as soon as I get my address, I will PM the information. Whatever I can get would be just fine. I'm not too picky, except that I would prefer a pure or close-to-pure indica type. I looked up DJ Shorts Flodica and that seems pretty nice since it is close to a pure indica. If they came or not, I still don't think that I will be getting them, because I used a fake name to try and recieve the beans inside of the P.O. Box. I am going throught the same trouble that I am having with trying to recieve a book from FS Book Company. Thats why I think I should go and get another P.O. Box, and then try again with Dr. Chronic!

I remember the clerk saying that they don't have International money orders going to the UK (She was looking on the computer or somethin'), but it was a small town post office, so I'm not sure if that had any effect on the reason she didn't have any!? I believe that the package has been sent back to the sender. I tried to email Gypsy Nirvana about two weeks ago about my order, and they haven't responded back to me, yet! You're also right, "Communication rules the nation"!

my seedboutique order was intercepted in january, what i got back was the package, opened and resealed. Inside there were two small plastic bags with weed leaves on it. They had been cut open and the seeds were gone.
So i made orders with a few othr places. Got scammed twice, and the one other package was also stripped of the seeds. In all I lost about $300. Sucks for me. My local Post Office must really be full of nazis, or something. So now i carry a grudge against postal workers

I don't understand what all the fuss is about. Order from some place that gaurantees delivery, or take your chances on getting your order. It's like not voting, then complaining because you don't like how the election turned out.

i've never had a prob with seed delivery. i always email the breeder/provider first and make sure what i want is in stock and ask for a p.o. number to be used with all correspondance in the future...then i mail the funds. i've had success with dr greenthumb, klozit king, heavens stairway (now defunct) and s.d. (aka seedsboutique) and never a prob with any of them and all offer the same guarantees. greenthumb is a good choice for canadian sativa's and kk is good for bc genetics.

I ordered from seedbouqtiue on a Thursday, and recieved my seeds on a monday. (I used credit card). Took 5 days to get delivered to the states.

They've been top notch and I've ordered from them probably over 10 times without incident. I live in the Midwest USA.

Did you contact them and put a trouble ticket in? They have resolved every complaint I've ever read about.

Your probably not going to have much luck with going the prepaid visa cards. Not sure why, but I always see posts about people complaining that they don't work when trying to order cannabis seeds online.

Thanks alot for commenting on that subject about the gift cards, because I was really looking into trying to get one. Now its back to an International Money Order. I tried to email both Dr. Chronic and Seed Boutique, AGAIN!!! Still no reply from either one of them. I was trying to find out if they had the beans that I wanted, in stock. I'm going to have to gamble my money again, and hope that Dr. Chronic have the beans that I want.

If you think AK is a bad indoor plant.
Trainwreck is one of those creeper strains.
It is potent.
But I don't like the taste.
It's too soar to me.
And just lacks anything special in the flavor.
But thats just me.
I wouldn't grow it though.
Man TW used to be a huge deal here in Cali.
Now noone even mentions it anymore. lol
Everyone is to caught up in Kush and Purple strains.

I don't think those 2 strains are the most potent.

The Orange Kush/Master Kush are way stronger.
But as far as sativa's like those 2 strains.
I think Haze hybrids are way better.
But I like spicey weed.

OK checking out kind seeds, I can either use a credit card (seems uncool) or send an Int'l MO addressed to kind seeds (also seems rather uncool since I would think the post office will notice the addressees name is Kind Seeds.

If I do send an MO haw long does it take to get there and what kind of postage do I request? Airmail?

I would like to say that I'm somewhat happy right now :thumbsup:. I had a long day trying to find an International Money Order. I went to the local post offices and banks, but none carried them. I was about to send cash in the mail, but the clerk at the post office told me I shouldn't risk the chances. She said something about the mail has to go through a machine and it could damage the money inside. She also said if the envelope gets sent to the wrong place someone could take it and blah, blah, blah, and etc. I kept looking for another place that had International Money Orders. My last hope was a local Money Gram store. I asked the clerk if they sold International Money Orders, and she said "YES". Finally, I found someone that sold them. BUT, I saw a poster advertising prepaid credit cards. Thats when I decided not to go with a money order :D, but instead get a prepaid card. The clerk said I could use the card as a regular debit card. I purchased the card for $9.95 plus however much money you want to put on the card. If anyone wants to purchase this card, and don't know where to get them, go to www.netspend.com! I had to give them my name, address (I used a friend's address), and other information. But I figured if other people use their CREDIT cards to buy beans, then why can't I use a TEMPORARY DEBIT card to purchase beans. I went home to activate my card and afterwards I was set to shop. Believe it or not, I went BACK to Seed Boutique to purchase some beans (BOG - Blue Moon Rocks - $60.01 + $9.10)! I don't why shipping is so much, but its cool. Right after that, I went to the man, DR. CHRONIC! I bought some beans from the doctor right after Seed Boutique, (Dutch Passion Regular - MasterKush - $38.85) and (Nirvana - Papaya - $17.88 + $5 for shipping). So now I will see who gets the job done, or not (It is July 06, 2006 and I finished purchasing the beans around 6:00PM) I'll keep everyone informed on what's going on!

I'll say this about all that........Intl Money Orders are a very commonly requested item for Post Offices. Hell, I live in a town of less than 5K people and I have gotten them numerous times when buying from Canada, Germany, and UK on eBay. Never had one bit of a problem.

Tell them the amount you need, and pay them. There is no paper trail it is yours. Send the damn thing blank. The seed peoples will know what to put on it to get it cashed. Tell them on the order not to use your name on it. They are in business to please their customers, not get them busted.

Seed Boutique recieved my debit payment first, but Dr. Chronic wasn't too far behind (a couple of hours) to confirm my payment. I guess a couple of hours doesn't really matter too much!

Thanks for replying, bongerstonerd00d! I've been doing a lot of reading on different payment options and situations. I didn't rush into this decision, because I had learn from other people's mistakes and good choices. This thread that I made had 55 posts and over 1,300 views, so I've got all the information that I could recieve on ordering beans, and I hope that it would help others. The reason I paid $10 for a PrePaid Debit Card, was due to the fact that running back and forth to the post office, bank, store, and etc. is using up alot of gas (lets say $5). If I was to get a International Money Order, that would cost me $3.45, as stated by you (Total of $8.45). Don't forget to add on postage for shipping outside the country ($0.87 for regular postage + more for any postage thats faster). So now its a total of $9.32, and whats the big deal about spending $0.68 more when its 100 times faster than sending payment through the mail. If you were to read some of the posts in this thread, it could take up to 2 to 4 weeks for the payment to get there (using regular postage), plus another 10 to 14 days for you to recieve your order. Sometimes you have to worry if your payment went to the right place or not. If you send a BLANK international money order, then that means ANYBODY could use it, if it was to get in the wrong hands. By using a PrePaid Debit Card, you cut all of the time wasted, into half, only dealing with the time waiting to recieve your package. The only reason I wanted to use a different address (My friend's address) was because I didn't want certain people knowing that I got a prepaid debit card (just my own reasons). NOT ONCE did I have to verify my friend's address when trying to order beans, only the SHIPPING address was needed (P.O. Box)! To all the people who's reading this thread, it all depends on YOUR situation, when it comes to ordering beans. Thats why there are so many different ways to use payment. Some people don't mind using their credit card, some people don't mind sending in cash, and some people don't mind sending in money orders, IT ALL DEPENDS ON YOUR SITUATION! But, its still not over, just yet, because I have to wait for my beans to come in the mail. I'll keep everyone updated :)!!

I have finally recieved my beans as of today (July 17, 2006), two days before I expected them to come! Both Seed Boutique and Dr. Chronic's orders came in the mail at the same time (Only an 11 day process). So let me be the first to say that I apologize to Seed Boutique for any trouble that I may have caused to the business. I have GOOD NEWS and BAD NEWS :mad:! THE GOOD NEWS: was that the orders were mailed to me in very discreet packages, by both Seed Boutique and Dr. Chronic. I recieved my Blue Moon Rocks by BOG Seeds, in good condition. Plus I recieved a freebie from Seed Boutique, South African x Skunk #1 by Sam the Skunkman, in good condition! THE BAD NEWS: Dr. Chronic sent me the wrong order, sort of!! I ordered Papaya by Nirvana, which came in good condition. I also ordered MasterKush by Dutch Passion Regular. THE PROBLEM IS: they sent me MasterKush by Nirvana :mad:!! I know alot of you are thinking, "So what, its the same thing"! NO, its not the same thing. If it is the same thing, then I would like the difference back, that I payed for Dutch Passion's MasterKush. The MasterKush I ordered from Dutch Passion Regular are $38.95 (USD), and the MasterKush I recieved from Nirvana are $17.88 (USD). I don't really know if they are both the same plant and quality, but I'm missing $21.07 (USD) worth of product from Dr. Chronic! I'm going to try and email them (Dr. Chronic) to see if they can send me the correct order that I payed for. Thanks for the help everyone :thumbsup:!!

seems like all I read is posts about people not getting the seeds they order, or problems, when all they need to do is follow my advice, and go to www.hempdepot.ca ... I loved a reply I got from a guy once, he named a couple of seedbanks that ripped him off, complained he was already out hundreds of dollars, but said he wouldn't buy from Hemp Depot because they were a few dollars higher than the ripoff banks (I haven't seen much pricing difference at all) ... duhhhhhhhhhhhh ... Just wanted to say that I got in contact with Dr. Chronic, and he resent the correct order, Dutch Passion's MasterKush. The bad news, when I recieved my package, the package that beans came in was in bad condition. I opened the package to make sure it wasn't tampered with (it wasn't), looked inside the Dutch Passion's original packing, and found out that all of the seeds were crushed:mad:!! Has this happened to anyone else??

I've ordered beans online twice from Dr. Chronic (using CC) and both times I've gotten the seeds exactly one week later, sturdily packed and in good condition. I'm in the western US. Both times he threw in 10 free beans too! (but it was a time limited special). Free beans special is not showing on the website now.

I filled out a printable form [fake name/alias, of course]; sent it with four-39 cent stamps; and paid with cash [including the cost for the shipping, also, with US dollars]. When they say " feminised seeds," all the seeds sould be female 100% but it's not always true. They are either female or herm, but most are female as they should be because you paid for it. I have never ordered more then 5 packs I only order 2 at a time, but when you order more, you pay for it. They send the seeds In an envelope (BIg white Envelope). The way they ship them, you don't even know seeds are in there. I love the way they send them :p . Good luck to you...

boss- You mentioned crushed seeds from the dr. I'm norcal and every order i've received (about 6 or so from dr) excepting one that was packaged without the cd case,has had crushed seeds. I ordered for 5 years from Canada and never had a crushed seed. I do wish they'd change their packaging for stealth as well as seed safety.

Get over it they got you that time...Those seeds are not comming. If you dont got to the site and put the order in and get an order number you risk getting taken. After you get the order # write it down and mail in the order.All
you have to do is write down the order # and they will know what to ship and where. The most important thing is send it by global express or gloabal priority which is $4.95 I think. Both ways you can track online around the clock and you will always know where it is. Express is more like $20. You will know when they get it and you can go to the site and put in the order # and it will give you the order status. If you dont want to use the site at least make sure you can track your letter you sent if you dont they will say they did not get it and they will not answer emails if you dont have a order number. Try it again with a cheap order $20 or $25 I bet you get it. It should take 14 days or less. With these guys you have to follow their instructions.
