didnt sleep for like a day and a half, and during my last hours i was stoned off my mind and tired/sleepy at the same time. I was flipping through this website that had videos " dont remember what it was called " but i ended up watching a Terrorist beheading video..... and lemme tell you, my brain freaked the fuck out when i watched it. I started to think how that guy felt to have hes head cut off with a dull knife, and i started to feel sick but it was wierd because i felt extremely angry at the same time. The worst part is my brain wouldnt stop thinking about it so this battle with my mind went on for about 30 min straight, untell i just ended up passing out. I will never watch one of those videos again...

I watched Faces of Death one time and couldnt get
some of those images out of my head for like a week.
Like you i was thinking about how some of
those people felt before meeting their untimely deaths.

Your brain conditions itself over time according to the amount of 'trauma' that you're objected to - and it doesn't even have to be your trauma, it could be something on t.v. or something someone tells you. If your brain registers something unusual, it usually goes into an acute shock, so as to deal with the traumatic event and condition itself to deal with that event in the future. This shock is what you felt - the sickness, anger, etc. If you watch that same movie over and over again, eventually you'll find it funny or boring. This means that your brain has conditioned itself to deal with it.

I personally have seen that video at least a hundred times now. It's the famous Nick Berg movie. Actually, I found it funny the first time I watched it...

Can remember me and my mate alex being around another mates house getting stoned. We were watching band of brothers and Alex came out with, 'just imagine being there', we then left and my mate spent about an hour just thinking how bad it would be to be in the second world war. LOL

I don't enjoy those kind of movies. What sick persons do actually enjoy looking at fellow human beings tortured and murdered?

not many people "like" to see people get killed, they are just curious about it.death is very mysterious to us and the video gives us a small glimpse of it that we would most likely not see in real life.i personally hate watching those kinds of videos but i have watched them before(but i have no desire to watch them any time soon)

thats a very good point " too as in also ", I to agree that death is very mysterious and i also believe at times can rise curiousity out of human beings. But yeah that video is just too much.

Not for a lot of people. That movie clip was rated as one of the highest downloads for that year.

Snuff is sold by the millions every year because people buy it, not because they don't. If millions, note millions, look at people raping other people and then killing them - then this is just a tv commercial to them.

Some of the highest rated films to date; texas chainsaw massacre, natural born killers, etc. were most watched by the 15-25 age category. So if kids are looking at gruesome shit like that, then some guy getting killed for real is no bigger deal

I think everyone has seen that by now.

They say he was dead before the decapitation
nun the less its still vulgar.

but you do care when it is by a terrorist force using a blunt knife to slowly hack off an innocent mans head, purely to threaten 'normal innocent' people, then broadcast it to tv stations and the internet.

but you are right... millions of people do die and no one gives a shit... but does that make it right?

it doesn't make it right, but I can name at least 10 hollywood movies where a guy gets his head hacked off with a knife. we're conditioned to it - well i am at least. And if it's a terrorist force the same applies. I'm not 'at war' but I can't imagine that the average american feels any different (here come the flames). It just pisses me off that for years the media has used images like these as propoganda for their own personal gains, and then when it happens close to home, and only then, do they get all righteous about it. I didn't see George Bush give out millions to this guy's family - but he'd happily take millions of taxpayers money to war with Iraq because Daddy couldn't finish the job...

the main difference is one is fact and one is fiction... but the twist is which is which?
