Need designs for indoor Grow box

i need to make a small grow box for my hydropinic system. Its neat and it houses 10 plants. The dimensions for my hydroponic system are about 2.5 ft long, 1.5ft wide and 2 ft high. How big should i make the grow box to house my plants, what material should i use (pvc pipes, wood etc)? better yet... does any one know a site that has blue prints for something like this?

Hey I got an idea for you. Why not just by like one of those stand up cabinet wardrobe things and paint the inside with high gloss white paint and put your lights in? I have a grow box like that and it seems to work pretty well I have already had 2 nice harvest out of it. Give it a shot!! good luck!

yea i thought about that but theyre too big. I really dont need all that room in there.

you need at least 4 to 5ft of height for the gap bettween the light and the canopy top and if your growing from seed's the space will have to be alot longer and wider as the plants will grow just as much width ways as thay do upwards unless your using clones .

I know that you said that you are not looking for anything all that tall but I figure that with the extra height that this offers you could make two grow areas within one cabinet. Just put a shelf in the center to create your two different areas. Double your harvest while still taking up the same amount of floor area.
