Well, my dad owns an air rifle (Daystate X2 - the regulated one with a walnut thumbhole stock :D ) and we often go out with my cousin to shoot .22 rimfire on a golf course and stables to hunt rabbits, foxes and deer. Me and dad also go Bisley each year to shoot the rifles there; .308, .223, black powder pistol (I think its .45), 9mm underlever and 12 bore shotguns. Its fucking fun, I just love the recoil and the smell of the gunpowder and cordite. Yum yum. Plus the fact that I can get 23 points out of 25 on the 1000 yard range with a .308. With iron sights :D

I own one I use for deer hunting, .30-30 lever action, my dad owns a few too, 12gauge mossberg, .357magnum, 22 pistol and a .38(I think) snubnose.

Today I went to a buddy's house. He goes to UGA (Athens, GA) and lives on 42 acers of property. He's a big redneck (nothing wrong with that). He owns about 15 guns.

We shot skeet with a 12 guage shot gun off his back porch. One of his frat buddies brought an LCD monitor that died to use as target practice. First we put it about 70 yards away from the porch and took shots at it with a .22. The .22 wasn't doing shit so we brough it closer. That's when we broke out his roommate's AK-47.

That was the first time I've ever shot a shotgun(for skeet shooting), much less an AK-47. The .22 made little pockmarks in the screen. We moved the monitor about 20 yards away and shot it with the AK-47. The AK-47 fucking destroyed the thing. It was a clean through and through shot with the AK. It went in the monitor, out of it, through a beer can and into a tree. I was fucking amazed. The AK-47 kicked harder than any of the shotguns we fired. I was amazed at the power of the AK. I want one :D
out of AK ammo so we finished off the monitor with the 12 guages. That was priceless. I'll post pics if my friend uploads them soon.

I think I'm going to go shooting more often and embrace my redneck heritage. Shooting guns with some good friends is a great way to blow off some steam.

My uncle is a pheasant shooter, and he has 11 shotguns, and 5 rifles. Dont know the makes or any of this stuff, all i know is when he got the new licences the police said he should register as a guns dealer cos hes got so many.

I think he means a silenced 9mm and a m-16, but yea its a .223

In my house we have guns under 2 beds, in the gun cabinet, and in one of the bathrooms! last time i counted we had over 20 guns, after we had sold like 5 or 6 of them! its all good ill be getting another one as soon as i have some money!:D

In the U.S., you can own as many as you'd like. Some states have laws relative to how many you can purchase at any one time, but I don't think any state puts a number on how many you can own. I only have 3 and am already shopping for 2 more...a Kimber and maybe a Sig.

My dad owned these:

1. Winchester 30.30 rifle, cherokee special edition (think John Wayne, but with more gold.)
2. Original 1970 special edition Colt .45, with certificate of authentication
3. Some fancy matchlock gun that looks like it came out of the pirates of the carribean.
4. TZ99 9mm with gold plating.

All these guns were given to me in the will, and all of them were sold by me, for a shit-load of money. This money bought and paid for my Honda Civic V-Tech. Thanks Dad.
