people are telling me not to grow outside because helichoppers have heat sensors that can detect marijane. is this true. i cant grow it inside cus i live with my parents. Some one sold me to grow near a cedar tree because they give off about the same amount of heat. any thoughts, hints, techniques, or anything.

i never heard of that. i know that helicopters have inferred or somethin like that an can pick up radiation comin off big lights like HPS or MH which makes it harder fer me an my homiez to grow indoors bein we live right on 101 practicaly an CHP has em i think.

Yeah, dont worry about the plants growing outside giving off heat. They wouldnt give off nearly enough heat for anything to read it. The only thing is they could see it, but that is still a small chance, especially if it is hidden somewhat.

First point, is that's true. Depends where you live though if they actually use them. Some places are obviouslly bigger hits like a place called Lasquitie Island near me, once a year all police units from all over my Island(it's a fairly big island, so that's a lot) go to Lasqutie for a big bust day(they still don't get anywhere near all of them, and lots of them get info about when this day will be so they can be already plucked and gone by then. I know they use these helicoptors there. If you're growing just like 3 plants though, and just mix them with some other plants, you'd be fine. Don't grow near a cedar tree though, those things suck up tons of water.

they have heat-seekin shit like bagz said that detectz high power lightz, theyve made alot ov bustz usin that. there iz also shit that detectz plant material, even if yer under the treez. id grow in an area thatz already got alotta other plantz around it. an if u r thinkin bout plantin near a tree, big mistake like sum1 already said, treez will take the water yer plant needz an take away frum space fer yer plant rootz ta grow nice an big.

right.. so cops have infra-red, heat sensitive lights that can detect plant material??? Do you guys know how not true that is? how can a heat-sensitive light distinguise between different types of plants!?!?!!??!? And I seriously doubt that police would spend so much money and resources on trying to bust someone with a plant or two in their backyard.. it doesn't make any sense.. quit being so paranoid guys LOL

the assholes use FLIR (forward looking infrared radar) to pick out the unique wavelength of light that cannabis sativa reflects. the feds cannot filter out a single plant from the background reflections, but can detect a patch that is approx. 25' by 25'. therefore, grow single plants in many different locations in as direct sunlight as possible. stay away from evergreen trees...they (as someone said earlier) soak up water like crazy and the make the soil too acidic for C. sativa. try to avoid walking around your plants! if you trample the soil around them, they can be seen from the air as big bullseyes! that is the DEA's favorite method of detecting. i recently moved to the city from waaay out in the country where i had been growing pot for ten years, so now my garden is in the attic!
