I know the ideal temp is 78 deg. but since its summer now my temps get up to 85 around 12:00 PM but soon goes down to 78-80 around 3:00 .Should this cause any stress?
I wouldnt have though so no. I've gorwn and 90 and all i think it did was make my plants a little droopy.

Those temps are fine. While higher than 'ideal' I too have grown in 95 plus degrees.
Your fan leaves will get large.
THink about the great sensi weed grown in Arizona...in 110 degrees!
Great stuff too.

I have a heat problem too,
the room temp is getting up to 100 but i only have 1 of my 3 600w sodiums on.
When all 3 are on in a weeks time the temp may be too hot.
I have 2 osc fans stopping the plants burning but am worried about when all 3 lights are on.
I have extraction running too.
Could i put a portable air conditioner in the room or would this cause me any problems?
only problem with portable a/c would be your amp draw, 3 600watters and a 1,000w a/c could/should pop breakers. Your setup makes the a/c necessary, try it, or just use 2 600w with the a/c.

damn, i'm having the same issue too w/ this damn heat.. w/ my 1000w on gets to almost 100 degrees in there..
last night went and bought a squirrel cage fan and today when i had the
1000w on w/ the fan sucking, it was at 90..
can't seem to get it below 80, even in the evening w/ fan sucking, and 1000w off..
pissing me off...
but what you'll are saying that heat will only cause droopiness, then shoot i'm not really trippin then..should i be?
