Advice needed.

Hi All,
Been lurking for a bit, so here's my first post.
I am really jealous of those of you who grow your own. I would love to, but the wife won't let me. Brewing my own beer is tolerated but that little bit of horticulture is just a bridge too far.
I spent a week in Amsterdam recently and it has really reawakened my interest. I used to make do with the occasional half of hash, but I just can't face the stuff now. I heard that you can order bud on line, but I'm afraid of getting burned, or busted.
Can you offer me any advice?
