finally growing shrooms

after reading all the posts about how easy it is to grow shrooms, i've been doing some research and it seems like something i can easily do. i have most of the supplies except for a few which i can just go buy cheaply.

i just have a couple questions before i get started:

1. i live in california. is it illegal to order spore syringes online? what's a good site to order from?

2. how long does it take to produce shrooms that are ready to trip with? (from making the substrate jars to inoculation to incubation to fruiting to drying)

any tips would be greatly appreciated. i've been wanting to do this for a couple of years and after reading guides on erowid and shroomery.org i think im ready.

Spore prints are legal in most US stated but not in CA I am afraid. A growkit (grown mycelium containing Psilocybin) is a completly different story. This is nog legal in the US, doubt if you can find someone to ship it to you.
