Women, do you care if your boyfriends/husbands go to the strip clubs? Or would want to go with them?

I'm just curious because I never cared in past relationships, but I do now. My boyfriend can of course go, but I don't like it. I don't know if that makes me insecure or him immature, or both. I went through a phase during which I thought it was fun to go, but I'm over it. Now, for the most part, I think they're pretty gross. At least the ones around here are nasty. I would go to a more upscale titty bar I guess.
What do y'all think?

I have accompanied my hubby to a few, but I think I did it so he could still go, but I could still watch him, also to see what the big deal is...if he ever went to one without me, I would make sure his bags were packed when he got home so he could stay with his mommy..or one of the whores shakin her ass for money

I used to go to titty bars. Then, when I started seeing this girl, I only went a few times at the beginning of the relationship. This was because I didn't mind having strange girls flashing their bodies in front of my face. And these strange girls, mostly, had better bodies than my girlfriend. The younger ones, anyways. Now, I just think it's a waste of a few extra dollars, even if I don't tip the dancer, one drink and out.

I'd be worried, if I were you. Just make him feel guilty as hell and he'll get over that scene.

It was alright and free for me but it was a little irritating when my guys got drunk and kept trying to buy me lap dances. Once when we went my boyfriend came with us. Ive only been to a strip club twice in my life.

I was actually turned off by the whole scene.

The guy I went with walked over to the ATM inside the place pulled out 200 bucks and it was gone in less than a half hour.

To me it seems pretty dumb to watch all these guys look at women like hungry dogs.

Being in a committed relationship means having trust. You're not supposed to like him going to strip-clubs, but letting him is a sign of trust, and a healthy relationship on your part. Does he let you go to dodgy places? A good relationship has trust all around.

When you just don't have enough trust and you start stopping him from going places, then compromise kicks in. If you he can compromise with you and vice-versa, then everything is all good.

Trust+Compromise are the ying+yang of relationships.

Hubby doesn't go anymore: Yeah I stopped going when I was old enough to be the dancer's father. These girls are just trying to make a buck, they shouldn't have to be grossed out by dancing for a guy 25 years older. Most of them aren't whores, as much as they're values-challenged, without alot of options in life.

In most cases, a strip club is just a place that guy's can can go to be immature, which is our preferred state.

I used to go to this one club, and they had Hendrix's Greatest Hits as one of their CD's, in the jukebox.

I didn't mind the clubs that much until I was the DD for my boyfriend, his friends, and my older brother one night. They all got drunk while I was stone cold sober and they decided they wanted to go to the titty bar. The thought of going and sitting between my boyfriend and my brother simply disgusted me. Now, I can't imagine going at all, ever.

I understand why some men, even those in relationships, want to go.

The thing I don't understand is why I can't think of a compromise that would make both me and my boyfrind happy. Is there one?
