heres a few updated pics of my 6 plants taken this morning,they are now 16 days since breaking soil on the 3rd sept.i woke up expecting them to be like a foot tall seen as its my birthday but didnt have as much luck lol.And by the way at 16 days im starting to get a bit of a smell from these super skunk babys!! :p

hey geo i live with my parents,i went to amsterdam a few weeks ago for the first time and bought myself some seeds from the sensi seed bank,when i got home i said f**k it, ive got the seeds am gonna give it a try,bought a mh,extractor unit and were off,about the parents i started growin without them knowing but within a few days they had discovered my illegal operation lol,it was a case of "you know ive been smokin years,thought id try an experiment" lol,the both of them are in n out the room to see how there gettin on just as much as me!,mother dear likes to grow alot of legal flowers in the garden so i shouldnt be stuck if i come across any probs :D

mine are super skunk,i also got a WW seed for free from the chick who works at the grow shop,it just popped the other day and i stuck it in rockwool lastnight,maybe ill get lucky and it will be a bitch,then id take cuttins from it,my SS sprouted on the 3rd of september and there 10" in height already,gonna give them another week maybe then take cuttins n give em the old 12/12 treatment,ill keep the pics updated every 3 days or so :O)

thinking of goin 12/12 in a week or so as im limited to 5foot 7 inches of height in the grow space and i dont know wot to expect in size when they go on 12/12,ive asked loads of times in these boards wot height they will grow to if put on 12/12 at about a foot tall (still waiting on an answer) im not too concerned about trying to get the greatest yield possible as its my first attempt at growing,and just for them to bud would be a bonus

ello time i posted an update i think,heres a few pics of my plants now 29 days from breakin soil,3 of them are @13" and other 3@11-12".thinkin about flowerin when they get about 16"-18"
also is a pic of a few leaves i removed from the bottom of plant #1 this morning-any ideas?theres also a few half yellow half green :confused:
and theres pic of white widow sprouting in rockwool :)

think im gettin impatiant as the branches are pushing against the walls and doors which will be a prob when tryin to maintain 12/12 as im jammin the doors open to save squashin the leaves and usin black/white polly over the gap for their dark hours at the moment,wish i had more space now!!didnt realise how fast they grow

nutriants are as follows.
on grow im using bioponic grow solution.
then bioponic bloom to flower.
after 3 weeks of flowering i add 1ml to 1 litre of the bloom feed.
hydrotops biopnic feeds are specifically for co co fiber (coconut husk)

they were seeds from a bag i had a year and a half ago maybe 2 that were in a drawer so just thought id try them aswell.
i presume its a sativa by the height of the plant at about 3 weeks,hopefully the pics might help you narrow it down to a few,thanks :)

Howz it goin every1 :p
decided lastnight it was time to put them on the 12/12 after 4&1/2 weeks veg.
So here they are this morning after there first 12 hours of dark and the MH bulb swapped for a HPS bulb.Grow my lovelys GROW :D
does any1 use the conversion systems for MH/HPS bulbs as this is my first time growin and the system i got.It seems the HPS doesnt give off nearly as much heat as the MH.
would it be advisable to lower the HPS more than you wouldve done with the MH?
any suggestions welcome :D thanks

heres a pic of a white widow seed i got for free from 1 of the girls at the grow shop,it seems to be a really slow starter compared to the superskunk although it did get a bit of neglect being below the skunk canopy and caused it to get poor light for about a week,so i made up a cardboard box ehhh grow room and put a few flouros init,seems to have grew another set of leaves since lastnite when i put em in the box
heres also a pic of 1 of the female superskunks,a bit hard to make out the white hairs but believe me there there lol

my plants are growing under a single 250watt MH/HPS conversion system and theres a total of 10 plants squashed into that grow space and they all seem to be doin well.
you would need a large space with good ventilation to run a 1000 watt light and could get loads of plants under it although i couldnt comment on how many could grow under it as ive no experience usin 1000watt lights
as far as where to put the light depends on where your going to grow indoors,i never had a prob as there is the clothes rack already inside my wardrobe and just put them on that after buying a few lengths of chain.
you might need to knock up a strap of wood from wall to wall then you could move the light along the length of your room to give the plants even amounts of light

bad news on my plants wardrobe grower.
i went out saturday night 7 when i came home ,i checked on the plants.to my horror,1 had been leaning a little & it fell onto the rest of the plants .stems bent on all 4 plants.they lookied a mess.with only 3 weeks left i was gutted.
but i stood them back up & put a runner bean cane in each pot to help them stand.
they look a mess but are still living (fingers crossed)
im now gonna have a chat to them & give em a little kiss & some loving.

good grow wardrobe yr yellowing looked like ph probs.
deficiencies are rare when using a good nutrient. ph fluctuations lock out elements and make them unavailable to plants even though they are present in adequate quantities. flush em with ph adjusted water and watch yr ph going in? they look good though

1000w light covers 3m square at 80cm above the canopy.
i would put 4x 300mm pots of coco coir and grow them to a 30cm bush then turn them. but uze all like millions of plants. in australia if we get busted it goes on numbers so the fewer the better.
we can put 1x 510mm pot of cococoir under a 1000w and grow to 1m bush, turn and end up with 3lb and only get a slap on the wrist for wasting the courts time.

ive got a solution called formulex which is to level out the ph in rockwool when soaking for seedlings.
could i use the formulex to flush the female plants i have left and try to steady the soil?
all my plants started yellowing leaves at the bottom about 3 weeks into veg

heres a few pics of the ladys 12 days into flowering today.i flushed them today with 15 litres of plain water each then flushed each with a litre of half strength fert each.did i do the right thing??i done this as i thought the yellowing on the lower leaves might be caused by overferting :confused:

heres a few pics of a white widow ive grown from seed under 2x14 watt!! cool white flouros for 3 weeks now and its 8 inches tall,its the only light i can use for them as im usin my 250watt for flowering the super skunk.i dont know if its the white widow strain that gets off to a slow start or it would be the lack of light (probably) as my super skunks were twice the height and bushiness at 3 weeks under the 250watt MH,although i am pretty impressed with its growth usin such low wattage flouros :D so ill be usin them for some clones in the future.
im goin to top this white widow as it is growing inside a small box and my super skunks have still got around 6-7 weeks flowerin left.
Q.the WW is just at its 6th set of nodes,when should i consider topping this plant to keep it contained in the box until SS is done flowering?

p.s. the box is 24 inches in height

If your having problem's with your plant's falling over under threre own weight..
The solution is you need bigger pot's to grow them in..

I had this problem for a long time.. I was using 8' potter's.. When I switched to 12' It went away..Also an ocilating fan blowing on them help's...

herbalfriend id recommend flowerin them at about 12"-14" as i put my SS on flower at between 18"-21" and 1 of them is now 40" high which is too high for my space so im gonny try and control the WW in veg by toppin it until my SS are finished then put the WW in for flower hopefully no taller than 14" but maybe 25" wide :D

I don't know if this will help but when I grow my outdoor in the back yard I train them to grow along the ground.. Tying them down with string..Make's for some funny looking plant's..But when would be theives look over the fence they see nothing..
I had a plant this year that was prob/ 7 feet tall if I woulda left it to grow on it's own..

i think you have some sort of sativa growing in there... let em flower for at least 50 days. Get a little magnifying glass so you can see the coloration of the trichromes and harvest when they start to cloud, or after they have turned completely amber...

im plannin on cuttin down those crazy colas in maybe a week (they will be 44 days flower by then),let them dry and get the light down on the lower buds for maybe another week or 2 and let them swell up some more.
alot of the pistils on my plants have already turned orange,maybe 10-15%could any1 tell me the soonest i could cut?

I like how doing that technique,allows even more room for root growth..just have to keep up with the needs of an increased root ball size-no problem,I reckon. I tell ya what,growers can sure be ingenious ! :D
