Weed that doesnt taste right

I bought some weed yesterday looks great all the signs of lovely bud, gets you high and all that but it tastes a bit "planty" why could this be I never came across it before?
Im thinking maybe not flushed properly maybe?
Its not good quality I usually smoke premium shit from the dam and quality hash, this is UK commercial grown shit and a bit too sticky for my liking Im gonna see if I can smoke it all tonight to get rid or give it away :mad:
So why does this weed taste planty?

I guess it might not be flushed. i occasionally get headaches from smoking weed and I think this is from not flushing the weed too.

Flushing is when you stop fertilising the plants in the last week or so and then give the plant a fair amount of water to get the fertiser chemicals out of the plant. Sometimes unscrupulous growers don't bother.

I once had some shwag that tasted like burnt, sauteed ass with a dash of insecticide. Not exactly a pleasant experience.

No, its nothing to do with not being flushed. It most proberly was, the reason its so sticky and tastes planty is because it hasnt been cured.

If you slow dry it it breaks down all the chlorophyl and this is what gives buds its own flavour. Just dry it out and it'll b fine.

It will also make it alot stronger, because fresh THC isnt fully phycoactive, when cured, alot more of it is phycoactive.

ya it wasn't dried/cured properly. Put it in a jar, if its fully dry, for a couple weeks/months depending on when its ready.
