I know about peltier cooliers or TEC (i think) through water cooled computers, but I dont really understand too much about the whole pelt res cooling. I have a feeling that my grow box is going to have high res temps after my first grow because I'm planning on integrating co2. Does anyone know about this? I'd rather not shell out like $500 on a waterchiller when I can make one for much cheaper!:stoned:
Thanks
well it will depend on how large your res will be, and how much "pull down" of temp you will need to do. IMO peltier chillers are only good up to working with like 15 gal max...
www.nano-reef.com if you go there and search for peltier I believe there are a couple things over there that may or may not help you ??

You can always try frozen bottles of water in your res to bring down the temperature. It's hard to regulate the temperature that way but for small amounts of water its fine.
