Outdoor watering tricks

Does anybody have any outdoor watering tricks that they would like to share, anything that they have used in the past that have worked. I have a large crop a couple hours away, and the drive back and forth is killing me, and i want to keep my visits to a minimum. My first patch is downhill to a creek, which i haul the water from. A automatic system would be great....i was thinking of a "downhill drip" method or sumthin along that line....

yep..a drip system would work. You could even put a timer out there if you can get power.
