could be a very easy (as well as stupid) question for ya guyz but I'm sorry, have to make it. i got some space\money problems an I'm planning to grow a single plant. of course i'm gonna put more than one seed in my garden (little one) but I want to spend my time an my love just for one baby. so the question is: what plant should I grow an which method should I use to get as more as possible from my stash? let's say i'd like to get 200\250 gr. (don't know how this measures fit to yours..sorry) of dried "stuff". what should I do, help me!!
and don't think that greed is takin possess of me. it's just an emergency.
waitin your answer :D

mate ur going to have to grow sum size of a plant to get 250 grams of dried bud . i normally flower when my plants get to about 1 foot tall and they end up roughly 2/3 feet when finished averaging 70/80 grams per plant . what i would advise u to do is grow small , take clones and and grow 3/4 smaller plants taht u can manage + that make the most of the space u have

I think somebody needs to do some reading of the FAQS before they start trying to grow themselves some cannabis

12/12 is a lighting schedual(sp) for flowering cannabis

I think Loop means growing it outdoor, in which 12/12 won't really apply.

Loop, check out the Outdoor Growing forum for help on how to grow the monster of a plant you're planning on growing... Some things to think about will be the fact that the growing season has already started.. so it REALLY depends on where you are in the world..

first, thanks for spending few minutes with that;
in answer to all, I'd prefer to grow indoor, as someone said, where I live is too late to plant any kind of plant. the fact that I didn't know what the hell was that "12\12" is due to my language.we have different ways to say the number of lightenin hours.don't treat me as a fool cuz you don't actually have any idea of who i am. thanks. I was wondering if hydroponic system could help me obtain much more from a single plant, rather then cultivating from seeds. what ya think?

I have NO IDEA about hydro - Latewoods the guy to ask on that - but I DO know that its a helluva lot harder that growing with soil. With soil, you dont have to worry about EC's, PPM and the pH of the water each day. However, with a continual drip system and a load of timers and gadgets to regulate everything... you dont even need to check on the crop to make sure its OK. All the gadgets do that for you!
With a decent hydro setup, you can just bugger off on holiday for 2 months, come back and youll have mounds of freshly manicured bud waiting for you. Did you know you can even buy machines that harvest crops for you? Theyre dirt cheap; only want a slice of bread and a glass of water each day. Called Afghans. Look them up sometime :p

It's going to really suck to spend all of that love, time, care and frustration on one plant.. and have it turn out to be a male.

Good luck, loop!

Under the wrong conditions it's still possible to get a male and even more possible to get a hermie.
Nothing is 100%. :D
Not to say that's going to happen, just a heads up.

Where do you live and what do you do for a living that would actually give you a bad money and space prob? Every one of my people that I know (of course they live alone lol) has atleast one area in their house where they can grow atleast 4 plants if they choose too. Which reminds me, I wouldnt just grow 1 plant..If you grow 4 atleast 1 will be female, just imagine spending all that time caring for that one plant and it turns out to be a male lol. If you would've had 3 more atleast you'd still feel like you didnt waste your light and money completely.

all good points. I start just 2-3 seeds sometimes...you know, special seeds and usually with the stress saving efforts I put into starting'em out...I always get at least a female.

On feminized seeds...you can stress feminized seeds into hrmie's real easy...

On which strain? Just pik the juiciest one you find!

The best way you'll learn is to read, read and read.

You can NEVER read enough.

Read the faqs here, all the grow guides, all the grow guides on weedfarmer.com and every grow guide you can get.

latewood iam not saying not to do research on growing, thats the only way he will learn. what i was saying was that this other person would have had an entire grow sheet for this guy, in detail, in this thread.

I agree,
I always used to get irked whenever LIP posted 20x in a row and some of the info he was giving wasn't always straight and sometimes wasn't proper for the situation -BUT:
I had a revelation and figured he's helping a lot of people that otherwise wouldn't get helped. Most of the info he gives is noteworthy, and if anyone usually answers anything wrong on these forums someone steps in and corrects them.
