View Full Version : What do you think
These four are in week 7 of flower, the trics are 80% cloudy (except the sativa, its got a few weeks left, you'll see) They were vegged under 8 42w cfls for 4 weeks and 2 175w coated mv and 4 42w cfls for flower. 3 smaller ones were a week behind in veg. last pic is the sativa, very slow flower development. These are all bagseed, 4 different bags from last year. I just trimmed the fan leaves this morning and they've been on plain water since last wednesday.
this is the wierd sativa, very slow flowering

nice man. they look good. Post the yield when u can plz :}
Just curious, what was ur height restrictions? The plants are pretty short, thats why I ask.
My height at the time was 14" max with pots, those plants were bent over two or three times to get them to fit.
Two of them are close to 2 feet if vertical(add 8" or so for pots). I have made the setup more adjustable since training them.
I will post yield within a few weeks

NICE BONSAI!!!!!!!
congrats... on the mature ladies
The plant posted 2nd is getting false seed pods, I've never seen so many on any plant before, it has 10 or so of em very visable, should I chop? I know its a last ditch effort by the plant to save itself, but none of these plants have more than like 2% amber trichomes; the trichs are 90% cloudy, 8% clear(Very hard to spot the clear and amber ones with my loupe) none of the other plants are making femminized seedpods yet (as far as I can see) I don't wanna "cut the cord" yet, sniff, sniff.... any input will help... I usually cut my plants too soon, but these are 4 days till 8 weeks flowering age.
BTW I have six seedlings to replace them already, so chopping the adults now would only break my heart, not my pipe :)
I killed the two that were showing seed pods, they are 1 week dry, and nearly 1 week curing, the final dry weight of the two smallest in this grow, 1 was 17" other was 13" yielded 15.9 grams dry and trimmed and de-stemed, the sativa and the other big plant (18" tops) are still flowering (back in my seedling room), they should yield more than the smaller two, but I can't be sure till I weigh in, they will take the axe when I see plenty of amber trichomes. this grow was vegged with 8 26w cfls for 4 weeks, my new grow is gonna kick it's a$$!!.
Even if the total is only 30 grams dry, I still did way better than my very first grow, which yielded like an 1/8 per plant (piss poor) and were picked too early.

yeah looking nice dude
Well, it's been almost 10.5 weeks flowering, the sativa and the biggest indica are still flowering, trics are finally starting to turn on the indica, the other will keep it company to the end, they should have at least 20 grams dried, (not shabby for two 14" bonsai) I'll post final tally, but 36grams dry is the number to hit. three of these four plant were flowered at less than 9" btw.
