what strain is good for hydroponics?

i set up a hydroponic system for my white widow. its not doing to good. i hear there are strains that just loves white hydroponics and are created for it. I hear that ice is good, but does anyone know which is the best? does anyone know form experience?

i grow whitw widow in soil and it grows itself.
i have also grown ice in soil and was well dissapointed.
my mate used to grow nothing but shiva in his hydro set up and usually got 5-6 oz off each plant..

Hi !

I grow Serious Seeds genetics for 3 years now and I think that they are doing hydro as well for testing and (polenise) for seeds.
I have no problems running theise strains and they are very very potent (AK47-WhiteRussian) very good yield is Chronic wich is about 16%TH and a very good sweet taste and smell.
