Ants

I got a plant about as tall as a 3 liter bottle and ants keep getting into the fucking soil. What should I do. I have already transplanted it with completely clean soil and changed the spot it was in.... Would ant killer kill the plant or does anyoen know of any ant killer that wouldnt?

place those little 'ant traps' around ... several brands available ... theyre usually a litte plastic box, with sweet poison inside ... the ants take it back to their nest, and after a few days the whole colony is dead ... no chemical fumes, sprays, etc ... a box of a half-dozen is usually $5-$6 at any hardware or grocery store ... :smokin:
