With 3000w (and all the right conditions/equip) you could grow upwards of 40+ (closer to 60)plants, that could yield enough to supply your whole town I suppose. Too bad my town is run by a real hot-head, and guarded by a 2 headed mutt :(

If everything went exactaly as planned, you would be looking at about a lb a light with blue berry with my expierence it is not all that great of a yielder. With another strain it is possible to get 2 a light. That like I said everything right if this is your 1st try expect half of those figures. like the 1st guy said it depends on alot but those are rough estimates. By the way my estimate you would get 2 grows in a 6 month time veg for 20 days bloom for 60 days

How much yield for a certain amount of light? This answer has always been the same since the first time this question was asked, and I'm extremely surprised that more people don't know it yet.

how about you giving the answer then yutts. there is no way anyone can give that answer. postman is using 1000w with his grow and he tells me that my grow using 400w looks bigger, so just get the specs on your seeds and try and shoot for that max yield, and if you go over, you did good.

I know there is no way to answer. Something like this cannot be quantified. I was being sarcastic. I have to laugh when people ask this, but it's usually a newbie, and they don't start with 3000 watts. More like 2 small flourescents.

And about the 3k wattage. From what I hear u cant really predict yield. But from some grow videos I saw... They will yield enough that u wont have to worry about yield.

how many plants did you grow of big bud to yeild that much? I will be using 3 1000w and big bud seeds from Attitude Seed in soil. What could I expect?

There is no question about it! 6 is the answer. 6 plants per light at harvest x 3 lights = 18 plants total. 3 oz per plant = 54 oz. Guess you could harvest twice in 6mos so your looking at 108 oz.

108 oz / 16 = 6.75. Now subtract .75 for who knows what reason and there you have it. 6:thumbsup:

Avg yield of 1 gram per watt per X number of weeks, or greater depending on room size, plants, techniques used (hydro, soil, lst, sog, scrog, etc.)...or 3000+ grams...your gonna have to start smoking more buddy bro... ;)
