I was named After Superman, and my middle name came from my cousin austin, and of course, he chose his own name, lol. also notice, no one has said their name yet.

Supermans REAL NAME- Clark Kent
My name- Kent Austin *******

I do plan to Change it when i turn 18 though, probobly gunna change it to something crazy, or i might go to my Native American indian reserve and then get Re-named. i talked to the cheif and he said that i am the only one in my family who is Open and proud about being North American Indian, and that i deserve a VERY powerful name, Mysteriocokona (pronounced My-steer-e-o-co-co-na)

he also said it would involve me drinking pu-ha (mescaline) and then eating ginsing till i vomit, donating (cutting) 50 peices of skin from eatch arm, and dancing for 50 hours straight.

pretty fuckin crazy eh? and my parent tell all their people at work and stuff that they are white, like they are ashamed of their heritage.. those fools.

CoolerThenJesus, that story is crazy!!! I like your Native American name. The cutting part of that ritual sounds pretty intense, I hope you can handle all that.

p.s. I love mescaline :rasta:

I was almost named Noah, haha, not sure whether I would have liked that. My parents ended up naming me Daniel. I wonder how much it has affected my life?? Just think about how many things would have been different just because of the subtle difference of having another name...

My friend's dad has a cool story about how he was named:
They are from Columbia, and his parents were planning to name him some traditional Columbian name. Then his father, the night before his son was born, had a dream about his own mother, who was dead at the time. In the dream she spoke to him and said "You should name the baby Wilfred." All of this was in Spanish of course, except for the name "Wilfred", and the next morning the baby was born and they gave him this crazy gringo name that nobody was expecting, LOL! Sometimes they call him Wilfredo. This is the only person I've heard of whose name was inspired by a dream.

my parents named me. the story is, they had my name narrowed down to virginia, stella, or amy. one of the midwives that helped deliver me had a daughter named virginia, and that inspired my mom to name me.
